    Abstract: A changer device for inserting a clamping head into and/or removing the clamping head from the clamping chuck, wherein the clamping head has a plurality of clamping jaws mutually displaceable in a radial direction and which can be mutually subjected to force by the changer device toward or away from one another in the radial direction. The changer device has a base and a plurality of adjusting elements which are movably attached to the base and which in each case have at least one engagement portion for the application of force onto the clamping jaws. The changer device has a drive member which is rotatably movable about a central axis relative to the base. The drive member is coupled by a gear mechanism to the adjusting elements such that by a rotational movement of the drive member the adjusting elements can be jointly moved toward one another or away from one another.

    Abstract: The invention relates to a sensor device as part of a measurement appliance with a measurement device for the measurement of vital parameters of a foetus during labor and delivery, in particular the oxygen content of the blood of the foetus. Such sensor devices should be applied to the tissue of the foetus in a secure and light-tight manner, and furthermore at least the carrier or sensor should be able to be fitted to the foetus gently and easily. According to the invention, the sensor device comprises a shell-type carrier, which is subdivided into an approximately centrally arranged attachment zone and a surrounding zone, which can be brought into contact with the tissue of the foetus, and the attachment zone is provided with a spiral-type attachment element for attaching the carrier to the leading part of the foetus, and the rotational axis of the attachment element is arranged approximately perpendicular to the surface of the carrier to be fitted to the leading part of the foetus.

Recesses (25) are provided on the inner cone surface of the chuck body (11) at least in the peripheral area of each seperating slot of the grip head (12), preferably also in the peripheral area of the apex line of each clamping jaw (21). Said recesses (25) have peripheral extension which is greater than that of the separating slots of the grip head (12) or the apex region of the clamping jaws (21). The axial extension of the recesses (25) is at least identical to the largest overlap area of both cone surfaces. The recesses (25) are filled with a filling body (27), made of an elastic, compressible material, up to the imaginary inner cone surface.

    Abstract: The invention relates to the use of a pulse oximetry sensor device. Based on standard methods for recording material labor activity during birth, reliable signals may be created so that a midwife obtains measuring values indicating clear information of maternal labor activity. The invention suggests the use of a pulse oximetry sensor device which measures the change in the oxygen content in the fetal blood during birth. The pulse oximetry sensor device is provided with a least one light emitter and at least one receiver, connected with an analyzing device, and attached to the leading part of the fetus for recording the maternal labor activity.

    Abstract: A sensor device for measuring the vital parameters of a fetus during birth. The sensor device includes a sensor having a wire spiral for attaching the sensor to the fetus, and a placement device for placing the sensor on a leading part of the fetus. A measuring device is connected to the sensor, and the sensor has on a front side facing the fetus at least one light emitter and at least one receiver which are conductively connected with the measuring device. The conductors are arranged in a cable branching off the sensor towards the measuring device, and the cable is introduced laterally, and essentially tangentially, onto a back surface of the sensor and extending in front of an insertion point into the sensor to form a helical partial winding approximately in a plane that extends approximately perpendicular to a center axis of the wire spiral.

    Abstract: A sensor device used as part of a measurement device with a measurement unit for measuring vital parameters of a fetus during labor and delivery. The sensor is attached to the presenting part of the fetus for the duration of labor and delivery. In order to prevent the arterial blood flow in the fetal tissue at the measurement point from being impaired by attachment of the sensor to the fetal tissue, the sensor has an approximately round, curved cup which forms a concavity on its concave side and is subdivided into an attachment zone at the center and an elastic peripheral zone surrounding it where the light emitter and receiver are arranged, whereby the peripheral zone of the cup attached to the fetal tissue rests in a flexible, spring-loaded manner on the fetal tissue.

At the rear end of the work head, the chuck jaws have a circumferential groove which is engaged by an annular coupling part. The coupling part is joined to a coupling sleeve which, in turn, can be coupled to the draw-in device of a machine tool. The collet includes a clamping tube separately couplable with the clamping head and having means on an end of the clamping tube facing away from the clamping head for fastening the clamping tube to an apparatus for use. Elastic members are provided in the longitudinal slits between the gripping jaws of the clamping head.
