The vanes of the diagonal impeller and/or the guide vanes of the guide device are three-dimensionally twisted. By means of an intake unit, the gaseous medium can be directed into the diagonal impeller. The intake unit and/or an exhaust unit, by means of which the gaseous medium can be directed out of the guide device, is, or are, provided as an exchangeable module and can be fastened on the diagonal fan by means of a fastening element.
