Abstract: A process for the manufacture of low-phosphorus or phorphorus-free spray dried detergents containing at least one water-soluble inorganic or organic compound exerting a washing or cleansing effect and at least one compound inhibiting alkaline earth metal ion precipitation comprising a finely-dispersed, water-insoluble, bound water-containing silicate compound having a calcium-binding power of at least 50 mg CaO/gm of anhydrous active substance and having the formula, combined water not shown,(M.sub.2 /.sub.n O).sub.x . Me.sub.2 O.sub.3 . (SiO.sub.2).sub.ywhere M is a cation of the valence n, exchangeable with calcium, x is a number of from 0.7 to 1.5, Me is a member selected from aluminum and boron and y is a number of from 0.

Abstract: An improvement in the process for the production of powdery washing and cleansing agent compositions containing finely-divided water-insoluble silicate compounds, capable of binding calcium, soap, and, optionally, other surface-active compounds, builders and other customary detergent additives by spray-drying a slurry and recovering said powdery washing and cleansing agent composition which comprises separately spray-drying a slurry rich in said silicate compounds and combining the spray-dried powders with the remaining ingredients in powdery form; as well as the powdery washing and cleansing agents so produced.

Abstract: An improvement in the process for the production of spray dried detergents containing nonionic tensides where the aqueous detergent slurry containing from 50% to 90% by weight of the total solids of the final spray dried detergent and from 0 to 5% at the most by weight of the total solids of nonionic tensides is sprayed into a conventional spray drier and simultaneously at the area of the spray cone a watersoluble powder is injected consisting of the remainder of the total solids of the final spray dried detergent having at least one nonionic tenside deposited thereon as a granulate where the ratio by weight of solids to nonionic tenside amounts to 50:1 to 5:1; whereby larger amounts of nonionic tensides can be incorporated into the final spray dried detergent without increased heating costs.

Abstract: A coated stabilized bleaching assistant suitable for use in pulverulent washing and bleaching compositions comprising drop-shaped to globular-shaped particles having an average diameter of 0.01 mm to 2.5 mm, and at least 70% of which have a diameter within the range of 0.1 mm to 1 mm consisting of 10% to 70% by weight of at least one activator for active oxygen derived from compounds yielding H.sub.2 O.sub.2 in aqueous solution, substantially surrounded by from 30% to 90% by weight of a mixture of (a) from 2 to 10 parts of substantially saturated fatty acids having 12 to 24 carbon atoms, (b) 1 part of aliphatic alcohols having 10 to 20 carbon atoms or their lower alkoxylated products having 1 to 5 alkoxy units, and (c) from 5 to 25% by weight of said mixture of water-soluble sulfates of aliphatic alcohols having from 8 to 18 carbon atoms or their lower alkoxylated products having 1 to 5 alkoxy units.
