    Abstract: This invention provides a new lead-free glass composition, a glass frit of this composition, a process for its production and also coloring preparations containing such a glass frit and the use thereof. The glass composition according to the invention contains in mol-%K.sub.2 O 10-17B.sub.2 O.sub.3 10-25TiO.sub.2 15-30SiO.sub.2 35-55Al.sub.2 O.sub.3 0-5Bi.sub.2 O.sub.3 0-5S 0-3 and any oxide from the group consisting of PbO, CdO, ZnO, Li.sub.2 O, Na.sub.2 O, MgO, CaO, SrO, BaO and P.sub.2 O.sub.3 which is present being present in a quality of less than 0.5 wt-% in each case. Glass frits of this composition are very suitable for use in coloring preparations for the production of glass enamels, in particular for panes of glass for automobiles. Glass frits according to the invention can be stoved at low temperatures, exhibit good anti-sticking properties, a high resistance to acids and a diminished migration of silver.

    Abstract: A toggle lever clamp device for automobile body fabrication comprises a clamp housing (1) having a rectangularly shaped cross section wherein the cross-section is taken at a right angle to an axial direction of the housing. The housing is comprised of two parts (12, 13) and has a slot (19) on a rear side thereof that extends in the axial direction. The toggle lever clamp device further includes a cylinder (2) coupled to an end of the housing in the axial direction, a piston (6) axially located in the cylinder so that pressure can be exerted alternately on either side thereof, a piston rod (7) coupled to the piston (6) and extending axially through a part of the cylinder (2) and into a hollow space in the clamp housing (1); and a toggle lever joint arrangement (10) secured to a free end of the piston rod (7). An integral replaceable monitoring cassette (20) forms a cover in the area of a slot (19).

    Abstract: A fluid-operated clamping device comprises a support forming a cylinder in which a piston is reciprocatable. A piston rod fixed to piston has a free end projecting beyond the cylinder. A clamping arm is preferably releasably connected to one arm of the bell crank and has a V-shaped end portion extending transverse to the remainder of the clamping arm adapted to clamp a sheet metal or the like between the V-shaped end portion and a matching V-shaped notch on the upper surface of a stationary anvil. A link comprising at least one spring plate partly divided by a preferably T-shaped slot extending from one side thereinto into two resilient end portions is arranged between the free end of the piston rod and the other arm of the bell crank with one end portion pivotally connected to the free end of the piston rod and the other end portion pivotally connected to the other arm of the bell crank.

The piston stroke includes a first step and a second step. The pressure acted upon the piston to move the same into the respective gripping position is partially counteracted at the first step so as to eliminate an undesirably fast movement of the gripping member during at least initial portion of the stroke. The remaining portion of the stroke the piston moves under full pressure exerted by the pressure medium supplied in the cylinder without any counteracting effect.
