  • Patent number: 9447720
Abstract: A device for injecting fuel into the combustion chamber of an internal combustion engine with at least one injector includes an injector body equipped with a high-pressure accumulator, a nozzle needle axially displaceably guided in the injector and surrounded by a nozzle chamber, a high-pressure line connecting the high-pressure accumulator to the nozzle chamber, and a resonator line arranged in parallel with the high-pressure line and communicating with the nozzle chamber and opening into the high-pressure accumulator via a resonator throttle. The resonator line and the high-pressure line, at least in their sections adjacent the high-pressure accumulator, are formed in a retaining body which, on its end face, is screwed into the accumulator pipe forming the high-pressure accumulator.

  • Publication number: 20120234296
Abstract: A pressure pipe fitting for feeding high-pressure fuel to, and discharging fuel from, an injector of a common-rail injection system of an internal combustion engine includes at least one inner pipe and an outer pipe coaxially arranged with the inner pipe, with an annular space formed between the outer and inner pipes, and an intermediate piece arranged in the annular space for coaxially positioning the inner pipe and the outer pipe. The inner pipe preferably has conical seat surface on its end face. A threaded connection is provided to position the intermediate piece at a defined axial distance from the seat surface on the inner pipe. The inner pipe comprises a stop acting in the axial direction and cooperating with a counter-stop of the intermediate piece.
