  • Patent number: 5129712
Abstract: The present invention provides a method of and an apparatus for regulating an electrically regulated brake circuit of a multi-circuit brake mechanism with pressure medium activated brakes. To decrease the expense of such multi-circuit brake mechanism, the invention transforms the pressure, modulated by the brake actuating mechanism, to an electrical signal and regulates or co-regulates the electrically regulated brake circuit (II) by this electrical signal.

  • Patent number: 4888997
Abstract: The present invention teaches a control input device particularly suited to a number of applications on a motor vehicle. The device can be activated by the foot of an operator to transmit an electrical output signal which is a function of load or displacement. Such control input device includes a leaf spring mounted such that it can be bent in response to an application of a foot force. Attached to the leaf spring is a sensor which measures the bowing of the leaf spring and transmits a corresponding electrical output signal.
