Abstract: The invention relates to a damping device for parts of furniture which are joined together by means of hinges and which can be pivoted in relation to each other. The housing contains a damping fluid in the cavity thereof and a resistance element which can be displaced relative to the damping fluid and connected to an actuating element protruding from the housing. During at least one part of the pivoting movement of both pieces of furniture, said actuating element is drivingly connected to the second piece of furniture and transfers the movement distributed to the second piece of furniture to the resistance element. The damping device is arranged in the region of at least one of the hinges which pivotally couples both pieces of furniture, and whereby either the damping housing and/or the actuating element engages with one of the mounting element of the corresponding hinges, at least during the damping process.

Abstract: A furniture fitting including frame sections which are preferably extruded and are intended to enclose furniture parts in the form of plates or panels, wherein the flame sections have an open groove extending in the longitudinal direction receive and retain a retaining part of the fitting. The groove is narrowed by two shoulders which are parallel to one another with end faces facing one another, wherein the retaining part has a flange portion which can be supported on the free upper face of the shoulders and in which there is provided at least one bore for rotatably retaining the shank, which engages in the groove, of a clamping element which selectively fixes the retaining part on the frame section or releases it for disassembly or longitudinal displacement in the longitudinal direction of the groove.

Abstract: Mounting plate (10) which can be fixed on the supporting wall of the carcass of a piece of furniture for adjustably retaining the bracket of a furniture hinge, wherein the said mounting plate has a flat base plate (12) with wing projections (22), which project from opposing long edges and in each of which at least one through hole (28) for a fixing screw is provided, and an elongate bracket retaining part (16) projecting from the base plate (12) between the wing projections (22). The base plate (12) is provided in its underside facing the carcass supporting wall with a flat recess of large surface area in which a planar adjusting plate with a thickness substantially equal to the internal depth of the recess is adjustably disposed so as to be movable in at least one co-ordinate direction.

Abstract: Furniture hinge (10) for pivotally mounting a door leaf (12) to a cupboard body whose door-side front is narrowed by a frame that projects inwardly at a right angle to the side walls. The hinge has a hinge arm (24) made of sheet metal and provided with a mounting plate (28) on the side facing the cupboard body. The mounting plate (28) can be releaseably secured in superposition with a fastening plate (34) disposed on the free end face (18) of a frame element (16) of the frame that faces away from the side wall. At least one slot-like elongated through opening (30; 36) is provided in the mounting plate (28) and in the fastening plate (34), through which opening the shank of a fastening screw (32) can be screwed into the frame element.

Abstract: A mounting plate (10) for furniture hinges, composed of a lower mounting plate part (30), which can be fastened to the supporting wall of a piece of furniture and swiveled in its front end region, and of an upper mounting plate part (32), which can be detachably fastened in the rear end region by a snap-in connection. In its rear end region, the lower mounting plate part (30) has at least one projection (64), which protrudes upwards between side walls of the upper mounting plate part (32) and has at least one locking surface (68). At the upper mounting plate part, a swivel lock (54), with the locking surfaces of the projection or the projections (64) of the lower mounting plate part (30), is assigned to the projection (64). The swivel lock is place under tension by a spring (56) in a position forcing the locking engagement surfaces (76) into an engagement position with the locking surfaces (68).

Abstract: Furniture hardware device (20) which can be fastened to the wall of a piece of furniture because it has fastening means projecting from its surface facing the furniture wall, which can be introduced into bores in the wall of the furniture and can be secured against withdrawal from the bores. At least one of the fastening means is configured as a fastening stud which has at least one knife-edged projection (60) running substantially circumferentially. The fastening stud or studs can be shifted between a mounting position in which the at least one knife-edged projection is withdrawn into the interior of the associated bore, and a fastening position in which they cut into the wall of the fastening bore.

Abstract: A fastening plug for mounting furniture hardware having an expandable sleeve into which an elongated shaft of an expander enters, the shaft having a head for rotating the expander relative to the sleeve. The elongated shaft of the expander has multiple expansion sections along the length of the shaft and which taper in the direction of the protruding end of the shaft. The central bore of the sleeve which receives the elongated shaft of the expander, is shaped so as to complement the shaft, and the position of the complementary, tapering expansion sections of the shaft is varied relative to the complementary tapered central bore sections in the sleeve when the expander is rotated relative to the expansion sleeve.

Abstract: Door-related hinge member (26) having a cup part with flattened sides, which is to be driven into a mortise in the back of a door. A flange extending outward against the back of the door is integral with the rim of the cup part, and retaining members are provided at the flattened sides, which can be spread apart by means of a handle provided on the flange in order to drive them into the wall of the mortise. On the bottom of the flange one or more centering pins can be provided for engagement in holes adjacent the mortise. Each retaining member (52) reaches substantially across the height of the associated flat in the cup part and through an opening in the mounting flange, and can swing radially on the cup part.

The metal fitting is composed of a holding part (14), which is to be fastened to the surface of the front face (12) on the inner side of the drawer, and of a receiving part (18) at each side wall of the drawer.

Abstract: A cabinet hinge having a two-piece door part which is constructed as an inlet housing composed of an outer, cup-shaped housing piece which can be fastened in a mating inlet in a cabinet door, and a separately made insert piece which can be fitted into the outer housing piece and snap-fastened therein and which is pivotingly linked to the supporting wall part of the hinge. Within the insert piece there is integrated a known over-center mechanism formed of a spring-biased tongue cooperating with a countersurface, whose spring mounted in the insert piece engages at its extremity remote from the tongue a locking element which is displaceably mounted on the insert piece and which is provided with at least one, preferably two, catch projections which, when the insert piece is in its proper position in the outer housing piece, catch in recesses provided in the latter.
