    Abstract: A wound filler or dressing includes a sterile polyurethane foam pad having cell openings that are impregnated with an antimicrobial odor-reducing agent. The antimicrobial odor-reducing agent is preferably 8-hydroxyquinoline, which may be mixed with a liquid carrier for introduction to cell openings of the pad. The antimicrobial odor-reducing agent inhibits the production of microbial odors from wound exudate that is absorbed by the pad.
