    Abstract: A heat exchange device of a floating core type, having a special configuration which allows increasing its durability as it increases its thermal fatigue resistance. The device is characterized by a configuration having high thermal fatigue resistance due to the special configuration of the end where the floating side of the core is located since stagnation regions that are usually produced in the baffle of the floating end are eliminated by the combination of the shape of the shell and of a deflector. This configuration furthermore results in a low-cost exchanger.

    Abstract: Provided are heat exchangers for internal combustion engines wherein a first fluid, preferably a hot gas, gives off its heat to a second fluid, preferably a coolant liquid. The presently disclosed heat exchangers include caps that limit the heat exchange capacity of the exchanger without causing differential expansions between elements or parts of these elements that may damage the device or reduce its service life due to thermal fatigue. A device of the presently disclosed subject matter can be sized for the engine having a higher rated power, and the same heat exchanger, can be adapted for operating with engines having a lower rated power without the velocity of the gas to be cooled being reduced, thereby preventing the accumulation of particles therein or fouling.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a fixing anchor for fixing components or parts to a support surface such as that provided by a rigid element, such as, for example, the engine block, or to intermediate elements which in turn are fixed to rigid elements, such as, for example, an intermediate pin mounted on the engine block, wherein said fixing is devised for bolted attachments. The anchor according to the invention is made up of a structure that can be manufactured from a single part of punched and stamped sheet metal, where the development thereof in sheet metal forms a single part, giving rise to an inexpensive and easy-to-manufacture component. The special configuration from the single part of punched and stamped sheet metal shows high rigidity and the resulting anchor is particularly suitable for anchoring heavy components.
