  • Patent number: 10857330
Abstract: A catheter assembly including a multi-lumen catheter, a stylet, and a guide-wire. The multi-lumen catheter includes a first lumen in fluid communication with a first distal opening and a second lumen in fluid communication with a second distal opening. The stylet is designed for insertion through the first lumen, having a length greater than a length of the first lumen such that a distal portion of the stylet can extend distal of the first distal opening. The distal portion of the stylet can include a stylet distal opening, a stylet proximal opening in communication with the stylet distal opening, and an expandable portion. The expandable portion can include a first expansion side and a second expansion side at least partially separable from the first expansion side. The stylet proximal opening can be formed through the first expansion side.

  • Patent number: 10272227
Abstract: A catheter assembly is disclosed, comprising a proximal catheter assembly portion and a distal catheter assembly portion. The proximal catheter assembly portion includes a bifurcating hub that defines at least one fluid passageway. The distal catheter assembly portion includes a catheter tube that defines at least one lumen and includes a polymeric material. A cannula assembly is also disclosed and includes at least one cannula that is operably connected with the fluid passageway of the birfurcating hub. The cannula is further configured to operably connect with the lumen of the catheter tube so as to provide fluid communication between the proximal and distal catheter assembly portions when the two portions are connected. A polymeric coating is included with the cannula and the catheter tube, and is configured to provide a seal between the cannula and the catheter tube when the proximal and distal catheter assembly portions are connected together.

  • Patent number: 9820539
Abstract: Methods of forming larger sintered compacts of PCD and other sintered ultrahard materials are disclosed. Improved solvent metal compositions and layering of the un-sintered construct allow for sintering of thicker and larger high quality sintered compacts. Jewelry may also be made from sintered ultrahard materials including diamond, carbides, and boron nitrides. Increased biocompatibility is achieved through use of a sintering metal containing tin. Methods of sintering perform shapes are provided.
