Abstract: Methods and apparatus for provisioning a payment account on a mobile device at a location such as a retail store in conjunction with a purchase. A method includes a personalization server computer receiving payment account information of a consumer and a mobile payment account information request message from a merchant device, the message including information identifying the make and model of a mobile device being considered for purchase and a mobile network operator (MNO) identifier. The personalization server computer verifies the payment account information, determines a provisioning response message that includes information identifying at least one provisioning option, and transmits the provisioning response message to the merchant device for presentation to the consumer.

Abstract: Systems, apparatus and methods for cost effectively and accurately testing the validity and/or success of an over-the-air (OTA) personalization of a payment-enabled mobile device. In an embodiment, a process includes transmitting, by a mobile device processor to an issuer financial institution (FI) computer, a request for a unique number, receiving the unique number, generating a cryptogram based on the unique number, and transmitting the cryptogram and a zero value purchase amount transaction request to the issuer FI computer. The process also includes receiving, by the mobile device processor, a zero value transaction authorization message from the issuer FI computer which indicates that the payment application successfully loaded and is functional. In some embodiments, a payment application load success message is then displayed on a display component of the payment-enabled mobile device.

The electronic basket includes a virtual prepaid payment card with a unique identifier and associated with a user. The user is prompted for potential contributors to the electronic basket. A mobile device provisioning framework system includes a plurality of components that interact by using standard interface specifications and standard messaging specifications to facilitate the provisioning of mobile devices. In an embodiment, a mobile device provisioning framework system provides standardized interface specifications, standardized messaging specifications, and a plurality of predetermined mobile device standard profiles. The mobile device provisioning framework system receives a selection of a standard profile from an issuer computer, and then provisions a consumer's mobile device based on the selected standard profile.

Abstract: Systems, apparatus and methods are presented that enable an issuer financial institution (FI) to contact a financial account holder concerning a possibly fraudulent purchase transaction via a non-intrusive notification transmitted to a mobile device. An embodiment includes receiving, by the cardholder's mobile device, a transaction alert message, providing an indication of the transaction alert message, and displaying transaction alert information along with a validate indicator and a decline indicator. The process also includes receiving a selection of the validate indicator, prompting the cardholder to enter a mobile personal identification number (mPIN), validating the mPIN, and then transmitting a validation signal to an issuer FI.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to a method of setting up a call from an originating user in an internet protocol (IP) multimedia subsystem (IMS) network. The originating user provides a signalling message containing an originating identifier of the user to a first node of the network. According to the method, a first node of the network receives the signalling message. The first node performs a verification on whether the originating identifier is associated with a wildcard identifier, wherein the wildcard identifier identifies a plurality of identifiers which are entitled to using a group service. If the originating identifier is associated with a wildcard identifier, the first node forwards the wildcard identifier and the originating identifier to a further node for setting up the call.
