  • Patent number: 7946890
Abstract: An assembly having a first element that provides a signal that is received by a second element. The assembly includes a signal guide/transporter transporting the signal from the first to the second element and including a first and second connector/plug connected to the first and second elements, respectively. The assembly further includes an adapter for transmitting information to the first element and a third and fourth connector/plug. The third connector/plug is coupled to the first connector/plug to receive the signal, and the fourth connector/plug is coupled to the second connector/plug to transmit the signal received by the third connector/plug to the second connector/plug.
