  • Patent number: 10195954
Abstract: Method for operating a charging station for electric vehicles in which a charging power is negotiated between a charge control device of the electric vehicle and the charging station, the charge control device controls a charging current which is transmitted from the charging station to the electric vehicle in accordance with the charging power negotiated, wherein a continuous power rating and a maximum power of the charging station which is greater than the continuous power rating are determined. In order to optimize the charging power and to accelerate a charging operation, it is proposed that a charging power which is above the continuous power rating and which at most corresponds to the maximum power is first negotiated, that the temperature in the charging station be monitored, and that, when a limit temperature is exceeded, a new charging power which at most corresponds to the continuous power be negotiated.

  • Patent number: 9669721
Abstract: A method is provided for dynamically providing up-to-date information about charging stations for electric vehicles. Charging station information including at least one charging station identification assigned to a respective charging station and location information assigned to the respective charging station is stored for multiple charging stations. A charge request containing identification of the mobile station and geographical information for the mobile station is received from a mobile station. A tuple of charging station information from the plurality of items of stored charging station information dependent on at least the received charge request is selected such that the received geographical information is compared with the respective location information of the charging stations and when the result of a comparison is positive the corresponding charging station information is added to the tuple and the tuple is sent to the mobile station using the identification of the mobile station.

  • Publication number: 20110174585
Abstract: A method is provided for coupling an automatic transmission of a motor vehicle, in which torque generated by an engine and applied to an input shaft is relayed by means of a torque converter and/or by means of a bridging coupling for bridging the torque converter to an output shaft. After the initiation of a bridging procedure, the torque is reduced, after which the bridging coupling is closed. This method enables an improved efficiency when coupling the automatic transmission.

  • Publication number: 20110035124
Abstract: A method is provided for operating an automatic transmission for a vehicle, that includes, but is not limited to detecting whether a target speed of the vehicle is set, calculating an optimum acceleration gear in dependence of an actual virtual accelerator pedal position, and, if the optimum acceleration gear differs from a current gear, storing the actual virtual accelerator pedal position, shifting to the optimum acceleration gear and ignoring newly calculated actual virtual accelerator pedal positions for an acceleration period of time. Since the actual virtual accelerator pedal position is stored in the case of a detected necessary gear shift and further calculated actual virtual accelerator pedal positions are ignored for a time, the operating of the transmission is based mainly on the value of the actual virtual accelerator pedal position at the time, when a necessary gear shift is detected.

  • Publication number: 20050247020
Abstract: The invention relates to a packaging machine including a machine frame in addition to a method for the construction and alteration thereof. The packaging machine includes a frame made of transversal (3, 22, 28, 29) and longitudinal elements (2, 12, 13, 15, 16, 18, 19, 25, 33) for receiving and fixing the individual work stations of the packaging machine, whereby the stations are used, for example, for forming, filling, sealing and labelling the packaging. Displacably mounted securing means for the work stations are fixably arranged on the longitudinal elements of the frames. The invention also relates to a method for constructing the type of packaging machine, whereby the frame is made of longitudinal elements (2, 12, 13, 15, 16, 18, 19, 25, 33) which preferably are the same length as the individual work stations, and transversal elements (3, 22, 28, 29) are assembled together and the work stations are consequently suspended, orientated and fixed in the frame.
