  • Patent number: 11153936
Abstract: A ceramic heating resistor to be arranged in a tubular element of an electrical heating element for heating a fluid, preferably air, wherein the heating resistor can be produced by sintering a green body comprising at least one ceramic raw material. The heating resistor includes an electrically insulating component and an electrically conducting component, and the electrically insulating component forms a matrix in which the electrically conducting component is accommodated. An electrical heating element for heating a fluid, preferably air, including at least one tubular element, through which a fluid flows or can flow, and to a device for heating a fluid, preferably air, including at least one such heating element.

  • Patent number: 10486093
Abstract: A coalescing element for a water separator device for fuel is provided with at least one coalescing medium that separates water contained in the fuel from the fuel. The coalescing element is arranged in a housing of the water separator device such that the coalescing element separates at least one fuel inlet of the housing from at least one fuel outlet of the housing. The at least one coalescing medium is arranged in a flow path of the fuel from the at least one fuel inlet to the at least one fuel outlet. The at least one coalescing medium contains at least one sponge-like coalescing material suitable for coalescing water. The coalescing element is used in fuel filters such as diesel fuel filters of an internal combustion engine.

  • Patent number: 10220352
Abstract: A water separating device of a filter element for separating water from a liquid hydrocarbon has a coalescing medium in the from of a hollow body and designed to coalesce water droplets of the liquid hydrocarbon passing through the coalescing medium in a flow direction of the liquid hydrocarbon. A hydrophobic separating medium in the form of a hollow body and permeable for the liquid hydrocarbon is provided. The hydrophobic separating medium is arranged in a flow direction of the liquid hydrocarbon downstream of the coalescing medium and separates water droplets of the liquid hydrocarbon from the liquid hydrocarbon. At least one precipitation gap is formed between the coalescing medium and the separating medium.

  • Publication number: 20150308393
Abstract: A separator element (36) of a separator device, in particular of a filter (10), at least for separating at least one fluid medium to be separated, in particular water, from a fluid to be treated, in particular fuel, in particular diesel fuel, in particular of an internal combustion engine, in particular of a motor vehicle, and a separator device (10) are described. The separator element (36) has at least one coalescence medium (58) in the form of a hollow body for coalescing the at least one fluid medium to be separated. At least one pre-treatment medium (57) for pre-treating the fluid to be treated is arranged in the flow path (78) of the fluid to be treated before the at least one coalescence medium (58), encompassing said coalescence medium or in an interior space encompassed thereby.
