Abstract: A wet floor wiping device includes a mop made of absorbent material and a mop frame exhibiting a center carrier piece (4) attached to a handle (3). Mounted pivotably at each hinge edge (5) at the center carrier piece (4) are two mop carrier wings (6), the inner surfaces of which, carrying the mop, can be pressed one against another by means of a squeeze feature. At least one of the two side edges (8, 9) extending from the hinge edge (5) is angled in relationship to the opposite side edge (9). Each mop carrier wing (6) forms a trapezoid including a right angle, the longer base line of which is the hinge edge (5).

A wringer slide (9) that can be moved along the mop handle (1) and is guided not to rotate has two rigid wringer arms (11), the ends (11a) of which can each be brought into engagement with a guide surface (17) on the back of the carrier plate (5) assigned to them, in each instance, by way of rollers (12).

Abstract: A surface cleaning device comprising a broom (1) and a brush (2), each having bristles (4, 5) on the side facing the surface to be cleaned (3) wherein the broom (1) and the brush (2) can be affixed one to the other in a fashion which can be detached without damage and wherein the bristles (4, 5) at the broom (1) and the brush (2) form a functional unit (6) when the brush (2) is affixed to the broom (1).
