  • Patent number: 10900823
Abstract: A method for measuring the mass distribution along the width of a strip, in particular a dough strip, moved in the longitudinal direction of the strip and having a specified target width. At least two weighing cells are arranged at a distance to each other with respect to the width of the strip. The weight of at least one dough strand or dough piece having a width defined by the distances of the weighing cells is sensed. The mass of the partial pieces of the strip is determined on the basis of the distance of the weighing cells to each other, the position of the weighing cells along the width of the strip, the strip speed, and the measured values of the weight of the partial pieces sensed by the weighing cells, in particular over a defined time period.

  • Publication number: 20190191722
Abstract: A method and a device for treating dough, in particular for producing pizza bases, wherein a piece of dough is applied on a support, in particular an abutment or a conveyor belt, and pressure is applied to the piece of dough by means of a pressure stamp, which includes a number of concentrically arranged press rings so that the dough flows. The press rings are extended one after the other outwardly in a staggered manner from the center of the press rings in the direction of the support such that the surface of the piece of dough is increased.

Abstract: A device for cutting partial strips having a defined specifiable mass, preferably from a dough strip, including at least one cutting unit, which has a blade. The cutting unit is adjustably fastened to a retaining element of the device in such a way that the blades cut a dough strip, which is conveyed past the device and is moved in the longitudinal direction of the dough strip, into at least two partial pieces predominantly parallel to the direction of motion of the dough strip. The cutting unit includes an adjustment mechanism, wherein the adjustment mechanism is designed in such a way that the position of the blade can be adjusted with respect to the position of the cutting unit, in particular over the width of the dough strip, by automated control.

  • Patent number: 5272985
Abstract: In apparatuses of the generic type, single point modules are provided which can transfer only the transport wagons arriving from one point branch optionally into one of the two other point branches. It is achieved by the development of the point modules according to the invention as T-shaped double point modules (40) that each point branch (42, 44, 46) can be connected optionally to one of the other two point branches, which results in a construction of a network transport path system of a simpler construction which requires less space and provides a better overview. For narrowing the spacing of parallel transport path routes (76, 80), point modules (72) are proposed whose branch angle is less than 90.degree., preferably 45.degree.. Apparatus with flexible transport path and assembly systems in industrial production plants are a preferred application sector.

  • Patent number: 4995506
Abstract: A conveyor comprises an endless, flexible conveying element, a drive unit for driving the conveying element, a deflecting unit for reversing direction of movement of the conveying element, and at least one tensioning device. The tensioning device includes a displaceable tensioning element engaging the conveying element, a tensioning spring biasing the tensioning element toward the conveying element, and a unidirectional blocking mechanism which blocks a displacing movement of the tensioning element in a direction opposite the effective direction of the tensioning spring for automatic readjustment of the conveying element while maintaining the possibility of the reversing operation. The blocking action of the blocking mechanism can be cancelled by an unlocking key, and the tensioning device can be slid back into a locking position to allow the disassembly of the conveying element.

  • Patent number: 4739871
Abstract: A device for lifting work pieces and work piece supports from a conveyor belt and for supporting against operating pressure includes a base, a lift table and a slide disposed therebetween. The slide is movable by means of an adjustment drive between a first end position and a second end position. At least one of the parts is provided with lift faces which are formed by a peripheral segment of a cylinder element. Counter faces which cooperate with the lift faces are formed by rotatably mounted lift rollers which in the operating position of the lift table are released from pressure by supporting faces provided on the base, the lift table and the slide. This device is characterized by short adjustment paths of the slide, low friction faces and also by the end positions of the slide which should not be exactly defined and maintained.

  • Patent number: 4718543
Abstract: Chain conveyor for workpieces and workpiece carriers with a roller chain (18) which includes a roller (28) at every second link joint. Spring elements (36), which cover the free spaces between the rollers (28) towards the top, are caught on hinge pins (24) lying between the rollers (28). Chips, screws or the like small parts are thereby prevented from reaching the free spaces between the rollers (28) and damaging the support surfaces of stopped workpieces or workpiece carriers.

  • Patent number: 4151451
Abstract: An analog of a path through which a cross slide table, for example carrying a workpiece or a tool is to be moved is traced on a drawing sheet. At points of change of direction or commanded speed of movement, graphic machine-readable symbols are placed on the drawing. A sensor, with sensing elements located in the quadrants of an x-y coordinate system, preferably secured to the cross slide itself, is placed above the graphic drawn representation of the movement path, the graphic representation is introduced by means of a program carrier beneath the cross slide and, upon recognition of symbols representing change of direction, speed of movement, suitable signals are derived which control servo motors moving the cross slide and the sensor in accordance with the sensed signals picked up by the sensor from the graphic representation of the movement immediately beneath the cross slide table itself, thus avoiding the necessity of numerical or other programmed input to the cross slide.
