  • Patent number: 8499043
Abstract: One implementation provides a method for providing display information that represents a quantity of received email messages that have been held for processing by a specific entity for a predefined time period in an electronic mail (email) response management system. In this implementation, the method includes determining a first value associated with a first quantity of received email messages that have been held for processing by the specific entity for a first predefined time period, wherein each email message has been sent from one end user. Upon determination of the first value, the method further includes causing to be displayed in a graphical user interface (GUI) a first representation of the first value in spatial relation to representations of the specific entity and the first predefined time period.

  • Patent number: 7657600
Abstract: One implementation provides a method of replying to a user electronic mail (email) message sent from a user within a system that processes incoming user email messages and delivers responses to these incoming user email messages. The method includes processing a user email message sent from a user to determine its content. A response based on the content of the user email message is then created. The response is delivered to the user along with a request for feedback regarding quality of the response to the user. Any returned feedback from the user is received. The returned feedback or an absence of returned feedback within a predetermined period of time is processed to determine if additional response is to be sent to the user.

  • Patent number: 7483948
Abstract: A method for a system to reply to a user email message includes receiving a user email message from a user email address that comprises particularized subject matter. The system creates a first response message that is responsive to the particularized subject matter and creates a second response message that is associated with the first response message and that causes an indication to be received by the system after the second response message is accessed. The system sends the second response message to the user email address. After the second response message is accessed from the user email address, the system receives the indication and makes a determination to send either the first response message or to re-create the first response message and send the re-created response message. Based on the determination, the system sends either the first response message or the re-created response message to the user email address.

  • Publication number: 20060259556
Abstract: A method for tracking email messages may include identifying a user email address associated with a user and providing user email content. An email tracking address that is uniquely associated with the identified user email address or with the user email content may be generated. An email message comprising the user email content may be sent to the user at the identified user email address, such that the email message appears to have been sent from the email tracking address. The email message may be sent in response to a user email message. The email message may be sent as part of an unsolicited distribution of email messages to a plurality of recipients. In the email message, a sent-from or a recipient-on-reply field may be set to the email tracking address.
