Abstract: An eye surgical instrument, comprising at least one optical fiber for lighting of the interior of the eye, which at least one optical fiber, at a free end thereof, is provided with a light exit and with a stop situated at a distance from the free ends which stop defines an insertion part situated between the end and the stop, and at an other end is connectable to a light source, while the stop forms a separate element which is arranged so as to be slidable along the at least one fiber.

Abstract: A surgical hand tool, comprising a handle with a substantially elongated fluid guide extending away therefrom, which fluid guide terminates, at a distal end, in a brush head and is connectable, at a proximal end, to the fluid chamber accommodated in the handle, such that, during use, fluid can flow from the fluid chamber through the fluid guide in order to be dispensed via the brush head, wherein the brush head is accommodated in an insertion sleeve, and is slidable from a first position in which the brush head is located inside the insertion sleeve to a second position in which at least a part of the brush head extends outside the insertion sleeve.

Abstract: This invention provides a cutting tool, comprising a sleeve enclosing a suction chamber where, during use, a reduced pressure prevails and wherein a cutting member is arranged so as to be movable along a suction opening provided in the wall of the sleeve. The wall of the sleeve forms a light conductor. The sleeve can be tubular and is preferably manufactured from light conduction material, in particular glass.
