  • Publication number: 20230225917
Abstract: Wheel assembly, in particular for a wheel chair comprising. The wheel assembly includes a wheel shaft extending along a shaft axis and which is configured to be non-rotatably connectable to a frame of the wheelchair. A wheel with a wheel hub is mounted on the wheel shaft so as to be rotatable around the shaft axis. The wheel assembly is provided with a hub motor having a power input and with a rim handle connected to the wheel and being rotatable relative to the wheel over an angle. A resolver assembly of the wheel assembly comprises a wheel resolver which is configured to generate a wheel resolver signal, a rim handle resolver which is configured to generate a rim handle resolver signal, and at least one resolver assembly output for outputting the wheel resolver signal and the rim handle resolver signal.

  • Patent number: 8312810
Abstract: A printing cylinder for a printing machine or printing sleeve for forming a printing cylinder that includes a plurality of cups for forming a supporting inner structure of the printing cylinder or printing sleeve. Each cup includes a central disc, a radially outer edge, and a first conical surface part. The first conical surface part of one cup at least partially bears against an adjacent cup in order to form a connection between the one cup and the adjacent cup. The radially outer edges of the plurality of cups together define a substantially cylindrical surface.

  • Patent number: 6694877
Abstract: The invention relates to a device for use in an offset printing press, for permitting the supporting and positioning of at least the format-dependent printing cylinders of the printing press individually exchangeably therein, in which for positioning of at least the format-depending printing cylinders provision is being made for a system with bearing arms, by means of which these cylinders can be positioned by rotation.

  • Patent number: 4780285
Abstract: Device for the carrying out of an immunochemical determination comprising at least one holder which is provided with an opening at the top and to the inside of which an immunochemically active substance has been applied. The device is closed at the top by a removable closure means and the holder contains at least a second immunochemically active substance which, in the absence of test medium, in the form in which the second immunochemically active substance is contained in the closed holder, during storage and transport under normal conditions exhibits no interaction with the inside of the holder and is inert with respect to the immunochemically active substance applied thereto. The holder contains a solid, more or less spherical, freeze-dried particle which contains the second immunochemically active substance.

  • Patent number: 4701410
Abstract: The present invention concerns a method for detection of the core antigen of hepatitis B virus in a sample comprising a first incubation with carrier-bound antibodies directed against hepatitis B surface antigens and a second incubation with antibodies against the core antigen in the presence of a detergent. Also claimed are test kits for carrying out this method and an immunochemical reagent comprising antibodies directed against the surface antigen and against the core antigen conjointly bound to a carrier.

  • Patent number: 4343896
Abstract: A method for the demonstration and determination of an antigen or antibody in a test fluid, and to a test kit for the application of this method. The determination of the antigen or antibody is performed by utilizing two antibodies raised against the same antigen, but in different animal species. One of the antibodies is labeled. In order to separate the labeled-bound fraction from the labeled-free fraction, an insolubilized antibody directed against the unlabeled antibody is employed. For antigen determination, the unlabeled antibody is the antibody produced from the second animal species; for antibody determination, the unlabeled antibody can be either the antibody to be detected or determined or the antibody produced from the second animal species.

  • Patent number: 4016043
Abstract: The present invention relates to improvements in the sandwich technique for the determination of a component of an antigen-antibody reaction in a liquid sample to be tested, utilizing as reagents (a) one component of said reaction bound to the surface of a water-insoluble, water-insuspensible, solid carrier, and (b) a component having the same immunological properties covalently linked to an enzyme. The liquid sample is contacted and incubated with the reagent(s) to form a reaction mixture, the enzyme activity of either the liquid or solid phase of which is a measure of the presence and quantity of the component to be determined. The method is especially useful for diagnostic testing for hepatitis or rubella antibodies.

  • Patent number: RE32696
Abstract: The present invention relates.Iadd., inter alia, .Iaddend.to improvements in the sandwich technique for the determination of a component of an antigen-antibody reaction in a liquid sample to be tested, utilizing as reagents (a) one component of said reaction bound to the surface of a water-insoluble, water-insuspensible, solid carrier, and (b) a component having the same immunological properties covalently linked to an enzyme. .Iadd.If and only if the component of the reagent that is water-insoluble and water-insuspensible has the same immunochemical properties as the component to be determined, is a predetermined amount of a binding partner for said first reagent (e.g., the reagent that is water-insoluble and water-insuspensible) added to the liquid sample. .Iaddend.The liquid sample is contacted and incubated with the reagent(s) to form a reaction mixture, the enzyme activity of either the liquid or solid phase of which is a measure of the presence and quantity of the component to be determined.
