Patent number: 11060313Abstract: A comprehensive dry flood proofing system to mitigate inland flooding risk for existing or new homes and other buildings. The system leverages the home or building's structure to offer practical and affordable inland area flood protection for structures constructed with a slab on grade foundation. The system includes pluggable weep holes, entry door/garage door/window protectors, wall appurtenances and penetration protection, a house wrap and/or debris barrier for wall protection and sewage anti-backflow protection. The system is reusable, easy to deploy, does not detract from the home or building's permanent appearance, allows for ingress/egress during flood events and can protect the home or building from standing water up to 24? above slab elevation. The preparation and installation preflood, the deployment immediately preceding a flooding event and the subsequent removal after a flooding event can be provided by both contractors and homeowners.Type: GrantFiled: November 11, 2020Date of Patent: July 13, 2021Assignee: GHW SOLUTIONS, LLCInventors: Jonathon Weiss, Gerry Graham

Publication number: 20090088822Abstract: A method and apparatus for providing therapeutic pulse laser treatment. The treatment method includes delivering more than one therapeutic laser light protocol from a hand held therapeutic laser device according to a preprogrammed schedule. At one or more select times during the preprogrammed schedule, the hand held therapeutic laser device will produce audio output. The audio output provides information to the user and directs him or her to execute a step in the overall treatment plan. For example, the audio output may signal to the user that it is necessary to make a change in or between treatment protocols, move the laser device, pause treatment, or otherwise control the delivery of therapeutic laser light. The ability of a relatively untrained user to implement the method may be enhanced if the audio output is delivered as synthetic speech output.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 27, 2007Publication date: April 2, 2009Applicant: LED HEALING LIGHT, LLCInventors: Ralph Pruitt, Gerry Graham

Publication number: 20050245998Abstract: A pulse laser for therapeutic use including a housing sized to be hand held by an operator. All components of the pulse laser are located within or on the housing. Thus, the present invention is a completely hand held stand alone unit which may be operated without a tethered connection to any apparatus located outside of the housing. The components located within the housing or on the housing include a laser light source, a control circuit configured to cause the laser light source to emit pulsed laser light, and a power supply. The wavelength of light produced by the laser light source may be about 635 nm. The control circuit of the therapeutic pulse laser may provide for multiple user selectable pulse rates. The therapeutic pulse laser may include a semiconductor switch in electrical communication with the control circuit and the laser light source.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 29, 2005Publication date: November 3, 2005Applicant: LED Healing Light, LLCInventors: Ralph Pruitt, Gerry Graham

Patent number: 6175227Abstract: A Coulter apparatus comprises a volumeter assembly containing a conduit through which a particle suspension is caused to pass simultaneously with an electrical current. In preferred embodiments the volumeter assembly comprises at least one traditional Coulter conduit wafer, i.e., a dielectric wafer containing a central circular conduit, and at least two electrically conductive collars. The conductive collars approximate the conduit diameter in thickness, are uninsulated, and are attached to opposite sides of the conduit wafer, the openings being congruent with the Coulter conduit. The Coulter conduit in the dielectric wafer and the openings in the conductive collars collectively form a hydrodynamically smooth conduit, in which the electric and hydrodynamic fields of the Coulter conduit are amended. The electric field is shaped to confine the particle-sensitive zone of the novel volumeter conduit within the conduit's physical boundaries, thereby decreasing the zone's coincidence volume.Type: GrantFiled: July 1, 1998Date of Patent: January 16, 2001Assignee: Coulter International Corp.Inventors: Marshall D. Graham, Harvey J. Dunstan, Gerry Graham, Ted Britton, John Geoffrey Harfield, James S. King
