  • Patent number: 6435179
Abstract: A device for inhaling healing active substances and medications includes a housing containing an active substance carrier therein, this housing having at least two permanent openings for the passage of air; and one of the two permanent openings being an inhaling mouth opening and is equipped with a mouthpiece for directly holding the device with the mouth.

  • Publication number: 20010015340
Abstract: A drinking vessel for infants comprises a vessel wall made of an elastomer material, a nipple arranged on the wall, and a vessel bottom made of a rigid material and connected to the wall in a form-locked, yet detachable manner without any intermediate elements or adhesives. The vessel simulates the act of breast feeding and allows the liquid to flow into the infant's mouth without a vacuum building up up inside the vessel.

  • Patent number: 5141481
Abstract: A portable muscle building and exercising apparatus wherein a helical compression coil spring is installed in a housing and can be stressed to different degrees by three loop-shaped handles two of which are to be held and pulled by the two hands and the third of which can be engaged and pulled by one or both feet of the user or affixed to a stationary part. The component which actually stresses the spring is a tensioning member having a conductive extension which can complete the circuit of a plug-shaped acoustic alarm when the spring stores a select amount of energy. The alarm can be moved to any one of a number of different positions in the path of movement of the extension of the tensioning member. The audible signal which is generated by the alarm indicates to the user that the selected degree of stress upon the spring has been reached as well as that such stress is maintained.

  • Patent number: 4773640
Abstract: A dumbbell type exercising device wherein two hollow weights are integrally connected to each other by a flat coupling member having a centrally located opening for a metallic ring which surrounds a diametrically extending handle. The ring can rotate with the handle relative to the coupling member and/or the handle can be turned within the confines of the ring. Removable screw caps which afford access to the interior of the weights can be used as handgrip elements, and the weights can receive selected quantities of water, sand and/or fragmentized metallic materials to determine the overall weight of the exercising device. The handle or the handle and the ring can be engaged by a hand or by a foot of the user.

  • Patent number: 4376533
Abstract: In a physical exerciser of the push and pull type in which an elongate telescopic system is contractable against the force of a spring by pushing handles together or by pulling apart tension elements connecting the handles, the improvement that the ends of the tension elements pass round guide pulleys and are connected to loops so that additional exercises and greater movements can be performed by pulling on the loops with the hands or feet.

  • Patent number: 4290600
Abstract: A physical exerciser of the type having a spring enclosed by a telescopic tubular system so that contraction of the system is resisted by the spring. Flexible connecting elements connect the ends of the system on opposite sides so that pushing exercises can be performed by pushing handles at the ends together and pulling exercises by pulling the flexible elements apart. According to the preferred form of the invention each flexible connecting element is continuous in the form of two runs guided round one or two rolling members mounted in handles at the ends of the system. Either one or both runs can be pulled giving variation in the force and movement distance.
