Abstract: A method and system of compiling one or more advertisements is provided. The method includes receiving via a communications network a request from an advertiser to place an advertisement. The advertiser selects one or more product and/or service category in respect of which he or she wishes to advertise and then compiles information regarding one or more product and/or service to be advertised. The information is collated to define a primary advertisement. A secondary advertisement is then extracted from a database and appended to the primary advertisement, so as to define a combined advertisement which is transmitted to a device of a user, typically a mobile communications device.
