Abstract: The invention relates to a connecting piece for connecting tubular members such as hoses, pipes, or other structural parts, carrying fluids with each other. A clamping part is available which has two half shell-shaped clamping halves with one clamping surface curved in accordance with the outer circumference of the end of the tubular member to be inserted. In their plug-in position the clamping halves are arranged at a distance to each other which permits insertion of the plug-in end of a tubular member. In their clamping position they enclose non-displaceably the plug-in end of the pipe, the hose or similar and they are simultaneously fixed on a contact part of the connecting piece.
