Abstract: Method and system to search for data objects are provided. The method comprises generating an attribute index and a content index. The attribute index comprises entries associated with respective access control information for a set of data objects and generating. The content index comprises words from the set of data objects. A search query directed at the set of data objects is processed by searching the content index, searching the attribute index, and obtaining a search result based on the results of searching of the content index and the attribute index.

Abstract: Searching for data objects includes searching a content index for first data objects, where the content index stores content of plural data objects, where the first data objects contain content that corresponds to content of a search query, and where the first data objects define a first search result set. The search for data objects also includes searching an attribute index for second data objects, where the attribute index stores access control attributes for plural data objects, where the second data objects have access control attributes that correspond to user access data associated with the search query, and where the second data objects define a second search result set. A search result is obtained based on the first search result set and the second search result set.

Abstract: Systems and techniques for tailoring the storage of information. In one implementation, a computer program product is operable to cause data processing apparatus to create a framework of elements to present a user with a presentation of options for tailoring an object, receive user input for tailoring the object in response to the presentation of options, define the tailored object to include the first field and the second field, associate an identifier of the first participant with the first field to indicate that the first participant is to be excluded from a first activity performed with the first field, and associate an identifier of the second participant with the second field to indicate that the second participant is to be excluded from a second activity performed with the second field. The received user input can identify a first field to be included in the tailored object, a second field to be included in the tailored object, a first participant, and a second participant.
