  • Publication number: 20080034534
Abstract: A quick-release caster assembly includes a wheel mount caster section having an outwardly extending support strut, at least one wheel rotatably mounted thereon and a connector plate mounted on the inner end thereof. A caster section mounting structure is includes a hollow mounting body having a forward opening, a first engagement plate partially closing a portion of the forward opening and a second engagement plate movably mounted thereon operative to alternatively partially close and open a second portion of the forward opening for releasably retaining the connector plate within the hollow mounting body behind the first and second engagement plates thereby releasably securing the wheel mount caster section on the caster section mounting structure.

  • Publication number: 20070039871
Abstract: An inlet filter for high pressure spraying devices includes an inlet body having an inlet end and an outlet end, a hose coupling at the inlet end, an inlet fluid passage extending through the inlet body with at least one inlet body outflow port extending therethrough, at least one inlet body inflow port also extending through the inlet body interposed between the inlet body outflow port and the outlet end, an outlet body coupling on the outlet end, and an outlet fluid passage connecting the inlet body inflow port and the outlet end. An outlet body is releasably secured to the inlet body and further includes an outlet body fluid passage extending therethrough. A water filter is removably interposed between the inlet body outflow and inflow ports and a generally water-tight cover removably covers the water filter, the inlet body outflow port and the inlet body inflow port.

  • Publication number: 20050186091
Abstract: An improved cooling fan mechanism for an motor-driven pressure washer which includes a generally toroidal drive pulley rotatably mounted within the pressure washer which is driven by an engine, the drive pulley including a generally cylindrical outer rim, a central hub and a plurality of spokes extending between the central hub and the outer rim for supporting the outer rim with at least some of the plurality of spokes of the drive pulley each consisting of an angled, generally planar fan blade having a forward air-engaging edge generally adjacent the outer side of the outer rim and a rearward edge generally adjacent the inner side of the outer rim, the forward air-engaging edges of the fan blades operative to engage air upon rotation of the drive pulley and force air into the pressure washer via the fan blades to cool the interior of the pressure washer.

  • Patent number: 6334579
Abstract: A nozzle assembly for converting liquid from a liquid source into a spray flow using air from an air pressure source to atomize the liquid. The nozzle assembly comprises a housing having an air inlet for connection to the air pressure source, a liquid inlet for connection to the liquid source, and an outlet. A series of first air passages are formed in the housing for receiving air from the air inlet. The first air passages communicate with the outlet and are configured to generate a swirled air stream. A second air passage in the housing is also provided and is configured to generate a linear air stream. There is a liquid passage for receiving liquid from the liquid inlet. The liquid passage contracts to a reduced cross-sectional area adjacent the housing outlet. The first and second air passages and the liquid passage terminate in a common atomization zone adjacent the housing outlet where liquid flowing through the liquid passage is atomized into a spray pattern.
