    Abstract: A print head configured for ejecting droplets of ink comprises a nozzle surface having arranged thereon at least one nozzle and a pattern of wetting sections and anti-wetting sections, arranged around the nozzle. The wetting sections interchange on a circular line, concentric with the nozzle, with anti-wetting sections. The pattern of wetting sections and anti-wetting sections is configured such that it provides a driving force for droplets to move away from the nozzle. The invention further relates to a printing apparatus, comprising said nozzle.
