  • Publication number: 20060097249
Abstract: Provided are a composition for thermosetting organic polymeric gate insulating layer and an organic thin film transistor using the same. The composition for thermosetting organic polymeric gate insulating layer contains a thermosetting material in polyvinyl phenol as an organic polymeric gate insulating layer material, to improve a chemical resistance and an insulating property, and an organic thin film transistor includes a thermosetting organic polymeric gate insulating layer formed of the composition. The composition for thermosetting organic polymeric gate insulating layer endows an organic polymer with a thermosetting property, thereby being capable of improving the chemical resistance and the insulating property as well as of forming a layer having a device property improved.

  • Publication number: 20060065647
Abstract: Disclosed is a method of cutting a liquid crystal display (LCD) unit cell from an LCD assembly panel. The method includes applying a coolant onto heated cutting path formed on the LCD assembly panel. A rapidly heated portion of the substrate is rapidly cooled using water having a high specific heat or a mixed coolant in which a material for improving characteristics of surface tension, viscosity and thermal conductivity is dissolved in water. Therefore, the cutting quality of the substrate is improved, and a cutting speed is also enhanced.

  • Patent number: 7005199
Abstract: An organic electroluminescent device with an encapsulation film formed by wet processing and a manufacturing method thereof. The organic electroluminescent device includes a laminate structure including an anode, an organic light emitting layer and a cathode sequentially disposed on a substrate, and an encapsulation film having a polymer layer made of a polymerization product of a vinyl monomer covering the laminate structure. In the method for manufacturing the organic electroluminescent device, a laminate structure including an anode, an organic light emitting layer and a cathode sequentially disposed is formed on a substrate. An organic solution containing a vinyl monomer and a polymerization initiator is coated on the laminate structure. A polymerization reaction is induced to the organic solution coated on the laminate structure, thereby forming an encapsulation film made of a polymer layer on the laminate structure.

  • Publication number: 20030052098
Abstract: Disclosed is a coolant for cooling a selectively heated portion of a liquid crystal display substrate to cut the selected portion using thermal stress and a method of cutting the substrate using the same.
