    Abstract: A granular colorant for coloring thermoplastic resins such as polypropylene, composed of dye/pigment-containing porous thermoplastic resin grains, which is characterized that a dye/pigment composition containing a dispersing agent and/or a carrier resin having a lower softening point than the porous thermoplastic resin grains and dye/pigment is filled in and/or adhered on the pores and/or surfaces of the porous thermoplastic resin grains, is disclosed. The granular colorant is hardly deteriorated by heat and has excellent handlability, meterability, dispersibility and dilutability.
