  • Patent number: 11471296
Abstract: A partial endoprosthesis device preserves the motion of a vertebral joint for implant into a spinal segment and includes an articular portion having a thickness that increases in the direction of introduction between the articular facets. The articular portion is elongated along a longitudinal axis with a opposite first and second faces. The first face has a central protrusion that is configured so that, by implanting the device with the articular portion inserted between an upper articular facet of a lower vertebra and a corresponding lower articular facet of upper vertebra adjacent to the lower vertebra, and with the first face in contact with either the upper or lower articular facet, and with the second face in contact with the other articular facet, the articular portion, with the first face, pushes against the first articular facet and finally becomes integral by osteointegration with the lower articular facet.

  • Patent number: 10159580
Abstract: A vertebral fusion device having a support element configured for insertion between two corresponding vertebral portions of two adjacent vertebrae, such as spinous processes and transverse processes, or joint surfaces of the vertebral bodies or of the facets, comprising a granular osteosynthesis material, preferably in cortico-spongeous chips made of bone bank human bone, which is plastically deformable, and a hollow container body that contains the osteosynthesis material and has a side wall, for example made with a network of interlaced meshes, and two open end portions to allow a contact between the osteosynthesis material and respective surfaces of said corresponding vertebral portions, so that the osteosynthesis material is kept in a compressed condition between said corresponding vertebral portions and receives mechanical loads therefrom which promote osteosynthesis.

  • Patent number: 9820863
Abstract: An intervertebral support device to impose an anatomic distance between two adjacent vertebral bodies having a pair of vertebral support elements for introduction between the edge portions of the rear half of the vertebrae, at respective substantially symmetrical positions of the instantaneous rotation axis of the natural relative flexion-extension movement of the two adjacent vertebrae. The device assists stabilizing and/or restoring the correct position of the rotation axis, which characterizes the first stage of the degenerative breakdown, without significantly limiting the relative movement of the two vertebrae. The support elements have preferably a constraint means that constrains them to the edge portions of the vertebral bodies, in particular to resist the reaction force on the intervertebral disc.

  • Patent number: 9179942
Abstract: The subject matter of the present invention relates to a maintaining device suitable for maintaining a predetermined intervertebral spacing, comprising a) a slender component, which is preferably substantially flat, of predetermined main width having a first end and a second end capable of being placed around the spinous processes, b) a rigid support comprising two side parts mounted between front and rear parts, and c) a blocking component mounted so as to slide on the side parts.

  • Patent number: 8287567
Abstract: A device is described for securing a cranial limb to the cranial top and for simultaneously closing craniotomy holes, comprising: a cortical support riser; first closing means operatively connected to the cortical riser; second closing means adapted to be secured to the cortical riser; and at least one handle removably connected to the cortical riser and adapted to drive the device to take it from its rest position to its operating securing position. A process for using such device is further described.
