    Abstract: A device for vacuum packaging of foods is provided. The device has an enveloping unit defining a vacuum chamber adapted to accommodate part of the opening of a food packaging bag, and a suction unit adapted to suction air and make a vacuum, in the vacuum chamber. The enveloping unit and the suction unit are reciprocally movable independently from one another, with the enveloping unit being fluidically connected to the suction unit by means of a suction pipe.
