  • Publication number: 20240385725
Abstract: While a view of an environment is visible via the display generation component of a computer system, a first motion input that includes movement of the remote input device in a physical environment is detected. In response to detecting the first motion input and in accordance with a determination that a gaze detected by the computer system was directed to a first object when the first motion input was detected, the first object is moved in the environment in accordance with the first motion input. In response to detecting the first motion input and in accordance with a determination that the gaze detected by the computer system was not directed to the first object when the first motion input was detected, the computer system forgoes moving the first object in the environment in accordance with the first motion input.

  • Patent number: 12099692
Abstract: A computer system with a display and a touch-sensitive surface receives a request to display a first user interface that includes a first item, and, in response to the request, displays the first user interface with a representation of the first item. Depending on whether the first item corresponds to a respective virtual three-dimensional object, the first item is displayed either with a visual indication to indicate that the first item corresponds to a first respective virtual three-dimensional object or without the visual indication. In response to a request to display a second user interface, the second user interface is displayed with a representation of the second item. Depending on whether the second item corresponds to a respective virtual three-dimensional object, the representation of the second item is displayed with or without the visual indication.

  • Publication number: 20240290046
Abstract: An electronic device displays a first user interface with a first representation of content and, in response to receiving a request to display a virtual model that corresponds to the content, displays the virtual model of the content concurrently with a selectable user interface object for performing the operation associated with the content in accordance with a determination that the first user interface is configured to perform an operation associated with the content and displaying the virtual model of the content without displaying the selectable user interface object for performing the operation associated with the content in accordance with a determination that the first user interface is not configured to perform the operation associated with the content.

  • Publication number: 20240291917
Abstract: A method includes: while displaying a wake screen with a first media item as a background and foreground objects displayed over the first media item, detecting first user input that corresponds to a request to display a media gallery; in response to detecting the first user input, ceasing display of the foreground objects; detecting a second user input that corresponds to a request to navigate through media items in the media gallery; in response to detecting the second user input, replacing the first media item with a second media item in the media gallery; detecting a third input that corresponds to a request to dismiss the media gallery; and, in response to detecting the third user input, redisplaying the foreground objects on the display device over a media item from the media gallery that is selected as the background for the wake screen.

  • Publication number: 20240257441
Abstract: A computer system displays a first view of a three-dimensional environment including a first representation of a first portion of a physical environment. While displaying the first view, the computer system detects movement of a first user from a first location to a second location of the physical environment, and in response: if the second location corresponds to a first type of exercise, the computer system replaces at least a portion of a second representation of a second portion of the physical environment that includes the second location with virtual content corresponding to the first type of exercise; and if the second location corresponds to a second type of exercise, the computer system replaces at least a portion of a third representation of a third portion of the physical environment that includes the second location with virtual content corresponding to the second type of exercise.

  • Publication number: 20240094866
Abstract: A computer system displays a first view of a user interface of a first application with a first size at a first position corresponding to a location of at least a portion of a palm that is currently facing a viewpoint corresponding to a view of a three-dimensional environment provided via a display generation component. While displaying the first view, the computer system detects a first input that corresponds to a request to transfer display of the first application from the palm to a first surface that is within a first proximity of the viewpoint. In response to detecting the first input, the computer system displays a second view of the user interface of the first application with a second size and an orientation that corresponds to the first surface at a second position defined by the first surface.

  • Publication number: 20240056563
Abstract: To blur the physical environment viewable through a transparent display, a system may capture images of the physical environment using a camera, warp the images of the physical environment from the perspective of the camera to the perspective of a user's eye, and display a blurred version of the warped images. The transparent display overlays a blurred version of the physical environment over the physical environment such that the physical environment appears blurred. This type of blur effect may be applied across the entire physical environment that is viewable through the transparent display or across only a subset of the physical environment that is viewable through the transparent display.

  • Publication number: 20240053859
Abstract: A computer system displays, in a simulated three-dimensional space, an object with a user interface displayed at a pose corresponding to a pose of the object in the simulated space, the object's pose corresponding to a pose of an input device in a physical environment. In response to detecting a movement input via the input device: if the movement input corresponds to input device movement, relative to the physical environment, meeting pose criteria requiring that a parameter of change in the input device pose meet a set of one or more thresholds, the computer system displays the user interface away from the object; and, if the movement input corresponds to input device movement not meeting the pose criteria, the computer system updates the object's pose in the simulated space based on the input device movement, while maintaining display of the user interface at a pose corresponding to the object's pose.

  • Publication number: 20240045562
Abstract: A system displays a representation of a camera field of view including a first portion of a physical environment, captures depth information indicative of a first subset of the first portion, and displays, overlaid on a portion of the representation of the field of view corresponding to the first subset, an indication of an extent of the first portion for which depth information has been captured. In response to detecting movement of the field of view, the system: updates the representation of the field of view to include a representation of a second portion of the physical environment; captures depth information indicative of a second subset of the second portion; and updates the indication to indicate an extent of the second portion for which depth information has been captured, including displaying the indication overlaid on a portion of the representation of the field of view corresponding to the second subset.

  • Patent number: 11875013
Abstract: A computer system detects a wrist. In accordance with a determination that first criteria that require an inner side of the wrist facing toward a viewpoint are met, the computer system displays a first user interface object including a plurality of representations of different applications at a first position corresponding to a first location on the wrist. While displaying the first user interface object, the computer system detects that the wrist's position or orientation has changed to satisfying second criteria that requires an outer side of the wrist facing toward the viewpoint. In response, the computer system switches from displaying the first user interface object at the first position to displaying a second user interface object including a plurality of controls for controlling functions at a second position corresponding to a location on a back of a hand attached to the wrist.
