  • Publication number: 20200133478
Abstract: An electronic device displays a messaging user interface of a message application, including a conversation transcript of a messaging session between a user of the electronic device and at least one other user, a message-input area, at least one avatar corresponding to a first other user included in the messaging session, and an application affordance. The device detects an input on the touch sensitive surface. In accordance with a determination that the input corresponds to selection of the at least one avatar displayed in the messaging user interface, the device displays a menu that contains a plurality of activatable menu items associated with the at least one avatar overlaid on the messaging user interface. In accordance with a determination that the input corresponds to selection of the application affordance, the device displays a plurality of application launch icons for a plurality of corresponding applications within the messaging user interface.

  • Publication number: 20200110798
Abstract: At an electronic device, detect a first input on the touch-sensitive surface that represents selection of a first ideogram. Identify at least one attribute of the first ideogram. Select a plurality of suggested one or more characters to display, where at least a first set of suggested one or more characters is selected based on a set of selection criteria, the set of selection criteria including the identified at least one attribute of the first ideogram. Display at least the first set of suggested one or more characters. Detect a second input on the touch-sensitive surface that represents selection of the displayed first set of suggested one or more characters. • Patent number: 10612908
Abstract: An electronic device displays a field of view of a camera with a view of a three-dimensional space and updates the field of view based on changes detected by the camera. While a measurement-point-creation indicator is over a determined anchor point in the field of view, the device changes a visual appearance of the indicator to indicate that a measurement point will be added at the anchor point if a touch input meets first criteria. In response to a touch input that meets the first criteria, a measurement point is added at the anchor point if the indicator is over the anchor point, and at a location away from the anchor point if not. In response to movement of the camera changing the field of view, if the field of view does not include a feature to which measurement points can be added, the measurement-point-creation indicator ceases to be displayed.

  • Patent number: 10475253
Abstract: A computer system having a display generation component, one or more input devices, one or more cameras, and one or more attitude sensors receives a request to display an augmented reality view of a physical environment in a first user interface region that includes a representation of a field of view of the one or more cameras. In response to receiving the request, in accordance with a determination that calibration criteria are not met, a calibration user interface object is displayed. In response to detecting a change in attitude of the one or more cameras in the physical environment, at least one display parameter of the calibration user interface object is adjusted in accordance with the detected change. In response to detecting that the calibration criteria are met, the calibration user interface object ceases to be displayed.

  • Publication number: 20190339058
Abstract: An electronic device: displays a field of view of a camera at a first magnification and updates the displayed field of view over time based on changes detected by the camera. The field of view includes a view of a three-dimensional space. In response to a first touch input, the device adds a measurement point at a first location in the displayed field of view that corresponds to a first location in the three-dimensional space. As the camera moves, the device displays the measurement point at a location in the displayed field of view that corresponds to the first location in the three-dimensional space. In response to a second touch input corresponding to a current location of the measurement point in the displayed field of view, the device enlarges display of the displayed field of view around the measurement point from the first magnification to a second, greater magnification.

  • Publication number: 20190339839
Abstract: An electronic device displays a representation of a physical space, receives a first set of inputs, and adds a first virtual annotation to the representation of the physical space, the first virtual annotation being linked to a portion of the representation of the physical space. The electronic device then receives a second set of inputs. If the second set of inputs corresponds to a request to create a virtual annotation within a threshold distance from the first virtual annotation, the electronic device creates a second virtual annotation in the representation of the physical space while maintaining the first virtual annotation. If the second set of inputs corresponds to a request to create a virtual annotation outside of the threshold distance from the first virtual annotation, the electronic device creates a second virtual annotation in the representation of the physical space and removes the first virtual annotation.

  • Patent number: 10460529
Abstract: A computer system having a display generation component and one or more input devices displays a representation of a virtual three-dimensional object in a user interface region. In response to an input for rotating the object, when the input corresponds to a request to rotate the object about a first axis, the object is rotated by an amount that is determined based on a magnitude of the input and is constrained by a limit on the movement restricting rotation by more than a threshold amount. When the input corresponds to a request to rotate the object about a second axis, the object is rotated relative to the second axis by an amount that is determined based on a magnitude of the input, wherein, for an input with a magnitude above a respective threshold, the device rotates the object by more than the threshold amount of rotation.
