Abstract: A device for suctionally capturing textile yarns and then carrying away the same by pneumatic entrainment, is supplied with pressurized air and includes tubular components which are movable with respect to each other from first position whereat thereof a strong suction action is exerted in a space adjacent to a suction nozzle for capturing a yarn, to a second position whereat a strong yarn entraining action is exerted into and along passages downstream of the nozzle for carrying the captured yarn to a yarn collecting environment. The device includes operator controlled means for switching the device from one to the other of the two relative positions and modes of operation.
