    Abstract: A wire-pulling device, in particular for laying electric cables in a building, comprising a frame (16), a spool of a flexible elongate element (6a) wound into a coil, and means for unwinding the member and advancing same into a section of a duct of an electric facility. The spool is mounted on a rotary drum (2) driven by a mechanism (13). The drum (2) has a U-shaped section in which the flexible elongate member is located. The flexible elongate member is fed into a rigid guide member arranged tangentially relative to the periphery of the rotary drum. The drum (2) drives a set of guide rollers (19) arranged at the periphery thereof. Each roller has a central section (3) having a diameter that is larger than that of the side sections (4) thereof that surround same. The two side sections engage with the ends of the arms of the U while the central section contacts the flexible elongate member (6) arranged between the arms of the U.

    Abstract: This device comprises an end piece 4. Said end piece 4 has a cylindrical body having a longitudinal axis, comprising a front portion 8 and a rear portion 6. Front portion 8 is a convex envelope of revolution about said axis, and rear portion 6 has a recess in the shape of a cone frustum 9 of which the large base merges with the base of rear portion 6. Said cone frustum comprises, on the inner surface of same, a conical thread 10 and said front portion has an opening 7 in the distal portion of same. Moreover, the device comprises, in one embodiment, a wire 2 in the form of a loop. The device comprises end pieces of different diameters in order to be disposed on different numbers of wires and different diameters.

    Abstract: A method and apparatus for inserting an object into an envelope in which the envelopes are stacked in a stacker. An envelope flap of the envelope is grasped by a lip on a rotary cam to open the envelope. The envelope flap of the envelope is brought into and maintained in contact with a surface of the rotary cam. The envelope is then pulled, via the envelope flap, so as to place and maintain the envelope in contact with the surface of the rotary cam. The rotary cam reverses the envelope to move the envelope into an inserting area where the envelope is detached from the surface of the rotary cam. An object is then inserted into the envelope and the envelope is then removed from the inserting area.

    Abstract: The invention relates to an automatic device which is used to envelope small items and which can be used to perform very-high-speed enveloping. The inventive device comprises a frame (11) having the following components mounted thereto, namely: a storage bin (12) containing a pile of stacked envelopes (15) which are disposed such that they can be removed one by one from the base of the bin, and a control drum (13) which is associated with a rotary cam (14). The aforementioned control drum (13) is arranged such as to move the envelopes (15) individually and successively from the storage bin (12) towards an area where a document is inserted therein and such as to open the envelope when the rotary cam (14) has unfolded the flap of same. The documents (30) to be inserted into the envelopes (15) are conveyed by way of cogs (32) which are solidly connected to a continuously-moving transport chain (31).

    Abstract: A bearing ring grinding machine having a grinding unit arranged to machine the bearings with micron-size tolerances and reduce a grinding cycle period. The grinding unit includes a fixed plate which supports a horizontally movable loader and sliding carriage. A carriage stopper, in the loader, holds the ring against the plate and between two lateral channels. The fixed plate has an opening for passage of a rotatable spindle, equipped with a magnetizable bush, to support the ring during machining and support stops for automatically positioning the ring on the bush. Initially, the carriage releases a ring to be ground which then passes toward the bush. The ring is then secured, machined, carried by a magnetic carrier of an automatic discharge device.

    Abstract: A device and method for producing, by molding, a circular-shaped mechanical part made of a metal alloy. The device has a rotatable hollow mold for receiving a predetermined quantity of the metal alloy. The predetermined quantity of the metal alloy is defined by at least one segment of a metal alloy rod. An inductive heating device melts the metal alloy to a melting point. A blank of the mechanical part being formed by centrifuging the melted metal alloy. Cooling the blank in the hollow mold to a second temperature which corresponds to a desired malleability. Processing the blank with a shaping tool to obtain a desired internal profile. To harden and form the circular-shaped mechanical part, the blank is further cooled to a tempering temperature.

    Abstract: In order to whip liquid cream even in reduced quantities, without any effort and risk, the apparatus according to the invention comprises a piston (7) provided in its front part (7b) with holes (17) through which a mixture of cream and air is pumped by jerky motions which whip the cream progressively as it moves towards a nozzle (16) dispensing the whipped cream. The rear part (7a) of the piston (7) operates with an excentric (4) actuated by a electric motor (2) and exerts oscillations along its longitudinal axis, thus modifying constantly the empty space in a tube (8) surrounding the piston (7). This modification of volume creates a sucking action on the liquid cream to which air is mixed and, at the same time, pumps said mixture by jerky motions towards the nozzle (16) through the holes (17).
