Patent number: 9891013Abstract: A store includes supplying modules, which define rows, which are arranged one next to the other. Each row has a predetermined number of crates. At least one flooring structure, which supports the supplying modules, defines a walk-off surface. A moving system for a handler of the crates includes an overhead-travelling-crane, which is arranged in the upper part of the supplying modules and is adapted to move the handler in a reference plane, so as to reach the single crates. The overhead-travelling-crane includes a horizontal truss, which, in turn, has a carriage, to which the handler is fixed. The horizontal truss is adapted to slide along at least two longitudinal guides rigidly fixed to the supplying modules of the external rows, which define the horizontal extension of the store. Each module is rigidly fixed to the flooring structure.Type: GrantFiled: December 18, 2013Date of Patent: February 13, 2018Assignee: OTO MELARA S.P.A.Inventors: Gianluca Biselli, Andrea Chiappini

Patent number: 8919576Abstract: A system for moving crates in a warehouse, in which crates (C) to be moved are organized in supply modules (M), each made up of a predetermined number of rows each having a predetermined number of crates. The system includes a translator device (1) for rows of crates that brings about the movement of at least one row of crates, so as to create at least one aisle (W) for passing between one row and another of the module, in which it is possible to gain access through a crates manipulator (3), which is able to move along the module and through the aisles.Type: GrantFiled: May 3, 2011Date of Patent: December 30, 2014Assignee: OTO Melara S.p.A.Inventors: Andrea Chiappini, Gianluca Biselli

Patent number: 8864434Abstract: System for moving objects positioned in a closed space, includes at least one manipulator (3), adapted to grip and orient the objects in the desired positions and at least one overhead-travelling-crane mechanism (2), adapted to move said manipulator in the closed space in at least two different directions substantially horizontal. An electronic processing unit, controlled by an operator, is able to electronically and automatically determine the movements of the overhead-travelling-crane mechanism and of the manipulator.Type: GrantFiled: May 3, 2011Date of Patent: October 21, 2014Assignee: OTO Melara S.p.A.Inventors: Andrea Chiappini, Gianluca Biselli, Tonino Moricca

Patent number: 8839705Abstract: A mechanism for setting a fuse, applied to the structure of a firearm 5, includes a setting device 2, adapted to program the fuse, the setting device 2 being fixed to a support structure 13 and having a reference portion 21 and a setting portion 22, rotating around the longitudinal axis of the fuse, adapted to set the fuse of a cartridge. The setting mechanism includes a support structure, the support structure supports a control device of the position of the setting device 2, formed by a movable equipment 31 from an actuator of a vertical movement 34 and from an actuator of a horizontal movement 35. The actuators are able to move along a horizontal “X”-axis of the support structure, along a vertical “Z”-axis, the same movable equipment 31 for the positioning of the setting device 2, with respect to the cartridge, kept in a predetermined position.Type: GrantFiled: May 25, 2011Date of Patent: September 23, 2014Assignee: OTO Melara S.p.A.Inventors: Andrea Chiappini, Gianluca Biselli
