    Abstract: A propulsion apparatus for a motor vehicle including an electric motor and at least one harmonic oscillator is disclosed. The electric motor emits a rotating magnetic field during operation and the at least one harmonic oscillator is arranged to interact with the rotating magnetic field emitted by the electric motor, wherein the harmonic oscillator comprises at least one support, a magnet with a magnetic pole exposed to the rotating magnetic field emitted by the electric motor, and an elastic element suspending the magnet to the support, such that the magnet oscillates with respect to the support as a function of the rotating magnetic field, thereby inducing a sound pressure wave corresponding to the oscillation of the magnet and the elastic element.
