Abstract: A container obtained by folding a single flat blank of paper sheet material includes a plurality of hollow elements joined to each other in one piece, each of the hollow elements including a base and a lateral wall; the lateral wall emerges from the base and defines with this latter a seat configured to receive at least one product. The present disclosure also describes a process of making the container and to a use of the same, and also to a package and process of making the same.

Abstract: A method for manufacturing straws includes the steps of predisposing a web or a discrete sheet of sheet material, wherein the web or discrete sheet extends between an end portion and tail portion; predisposing a winding body extending along an axis; completely winding the web or discrete sheet around the winding body for defining a cylindrical body of sheet material wherein the end portion and tail portion face each other for defining a mutual overlapping portion; and constraining the end portion to the tail portion in the mutual overlapping portion in order to define a straw extending between a first and second substantially circular free edges, wherein the mutual overlapping portion extends between the first and second free edges of the straw along a rectilinear direction.

Abstract: The present invention relates to biodegradable composites based on blends of a thermoplastic polymer material with cellulosic materials, useful for several industrial and packaging applications, in particular for the manufacture of biodegradable films and articles of complex shape, having improved mechanical properties, oxygen barrier properties, biodegradation and heat resistance; and to a process for the manufacture of these biodegradable composites.

A sealing layer (204) is coupled to the container in a position underlying the closing element (5). Abstract: A process for realizing a container from a foldable sheet comprises stages of at least partially inserting a closure element made of paper material (extensible paper) provided with a base wall and a lateral wall internally of a housing chamber of the container. The lateral wall of the closure element is inserted and located at a portion of the wall of the container. Also comprised is a stage of contemporary deformation of the lateral wall of the closure element and the portion of wall of the container in order to realize corresponding grooves on the parts, destined to define coupling and decoupling surfaces by rotation between the closure element and the container. The use of extensible paper advantageously enables easy realization of the coupling grooves by rotation.

Abstract: A method and related apparatus for producing one or several products starting from a cellulose based material have been worked out. A layer of fluffy material (20), to which a glue liquid content (30) is associated, is introduced between opened mould parts (80, 81). The closure of the mould provides an internal cavity (70) substantially conform in shape to the product to be obtained which defines a cavity having a smaller volume than the sum of the volumes of the compressed cellulose material structure (20?) and the volume of the glue liquid content (30). The amount of glue liquid content (30) is chosen so as to completely moisten, during the step of pressing the mould parts (80, 81), the compressed cellulose material structure (20?).

Abstract: A tray of sheet paper material for containing foodstuffs in which there is a bottom and a side wall emerging therefrom and defining, in cooperation with said bottom, a holding space facing upwardly under use conditions of the tray; the side wall is defined by alternated straight portions and curved portions both having upwardly-facing flat surfaces (7, 9) to allow engagement of a closing film heat-sealed thereto; the straight portions (4) also have reinforcing tabs in engagement at the lower part thereof with the flat surfaces (7) and the tray is also provided with a reinforcing edge (10) folded downwardly along the whole upper perimeter of the container itself. The tray thus made has excellent features of mechanical resistance to deformations.

Abstract: A baking-tin to cook and distribute cakes and food-stuffs in general comprises a laminar support (2) made of paper material provided with a plurality of through holes (3) each of them housing a small pleated-paper cup (4). The support (2) is provided with a number of fracture lines (5) defining a plurality of support portions (6) thereon each circumscribed to at least a small cup 4), as well as a series of shaped holes (7) which are cut each at the crossing of two fracture lines (5). On the outer edges of the baking-tin (1) where the edge itself intersects the fracture lines, provision is made for a plurality of engagement seats (8) enabling the baking-tin to be engaged by grasping elements carried by the automated transport means.
