Patent number: 12195339Abstract: A graphene structure can include multiple graphene layers stacked into a perturbed symmetry. A first graphene layer can be situated a first rotational angle with respect to a rotational axis extending perpendicularly through the first graphene layer, and a second graphene layer can be situated atop the first graphene layer at a second rotational angle with respect to the rotational axis. A third graphene layer can be situated atop the second graphene layer at a third rotational angle with respect to the rotational axis, and the third rotational angle can be different than the second rotational angle. Additional graphene layers can be successively stacked onto the graphene structure, with each layer being set at a different rotational angle than the previous layer. Six total graphene layers can be stacked. The relationship of the ratios between all rotational angles can forms an arithmetic, geometric, or Fibonacci sequence, or another pattern.Type: GrantFiled: February 26, 2024Date of Patent: January 14, 2025Assignee: Applied Physics, Inc.Inventor: Gianni Martire

Publication number: 20240252799Abstract: Systems configured for treating invasive agent cells can include particles and a wave generation system. Particles can be introducible into a living being and can include surface features that facilitate attachment to invasive agent cells. The wave generation system can provide a specific wave pattern that can include a Fibonacci element and/or waves at different frequencies. The specific wave pattern can actuate the particles to damage or destroy invasive agent cells to which they are attached. The living being can be human and the invasive agent cells can be cancer cells. Waves can include sound, light, magnetic, or electromagnetic waves. The particles can be nanoparticles, such as functionalized gold nanoparticles having surface features that include citrate, lactate, glycol and/or biological components. Actuation can involve moving particles in response to the specific wave pattern in a manner that results in lysis of or immune response to the attached invasive agent cells.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 29, 2024Publication date: August 1, 2024Inventors: Gianni Martire, Ed Rietman

Publication number: 20240069424Abstract: A media presentation system can include a media generation component, a projection component, a first redirection component, and a display component. The media generation component can generate video imagery, and the projection component can project one or more beams containing the video imagery in an initial direction. The first redirection component can redirect the beam(s) from the initial direction to a subsequent different direction. The display component can receive the beam(s), display the video imagery, and can form a substantially continuous spherical shape that surrounds multiple human viewers of the video imagery above and around all sides of all viewers. A second redirection component can receive the beam(s) in the subsequent direction from the first redirection component and redirect the beam(s) in a following direction toward the display component. The system can form a dome-shaped movie theater that displays the video imagery at the display component located within the dome.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 23, 2022Publication date: February 29, 2024Inventors: Gianni Martire, Jerry Tessendorf

Patent number: 11029046Abstract: An indoor cooling system kit can include aluminum beverage cans, flexible hoses, a fan, and instructions for forming the indoor cooling system. Further kit materials can include containers, dehumidifying material, a filter, and further instructions. A method of cooling an indoor region can include cutting tops and bottoms away from aluminum beverage cans, coupling the cans together in series to form two elongated airflow passages, coupling a flexible hose to open ends of both airflow passages, adjusting the hose so that both airflow passages and hose form a U-shaped airflow passage, forming a hole in the ground beneath the indoor region, inserting the U-shaped airflow passage into the hole with its inlet and outlet elevated out of the hole into the indoor region, and operating a fan to force air through the inlet. The air is cooled geothermally as it travels through the overall U-shaped airflow passage.Type: GrantFiled: July 15, 2020Date of Patent: June 8, 2021Inventor: Gianni Martire

Publication number: 20140302814Abstract: A centralized caller profile and billing system provides methods for routing and prioritizing calls and for providing billing information and payment. The systems and methods provide enhanced customer service by allowing multiple parties to update and share the same set of profile information from a centralized database. Faster and easier access to profile information is provided, allowing more efficient call routing and the ability to prioritize callers in a caller queue. When a caller connects with a called party, a centralized database of caller information is automatically applied to the caller, thereby eliminating the need for verbal billing requests. Billing information is sent from the centralized caller database to a payment gateway upon verification of a caller's PIN. The billing information is sent conveniently and securely. Security is improved because the billing information can be communicated directly to the payment gateway, third party, or other agent.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 7, 2014Publication date: October 9, 2014Inventors: Ian James Roncoroni, Gianni Martire

Publication number: 20090287687Abstract: A system and method is disclosed for recommending venues and events to individual users using a combination of collaborative filtering and integrating social behavioral pattern data gathered and computed via an electronic device. The system and method of the present invention is configured to receive data based on users' past, present and future social activity and interests, which are submitted to the system via an electronic device. When a new data item is made available from sources such as a mobile device, social networks or GPS systems, the system and method analytically breaks down the new item data, compares it to ascertained attributes of item data that a user (i.) indicated interest to in the past, (ii.) has a friend or related network of users that indicated interest in the venue or in an event in the past, and (iii.) indicated interest in the event or venue based upon general social statistics such as male to female ratio, age, and other demographics gathered and computed by the system.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 14, 2009Publication date: November 19, 2009Inventors: GIANNI MARTIRE, Chris Mirabile
