  • Patent number: 11434074
Abstract: A vertical oven for drying and temporarily storing painted panels includes racks for supporting the panels; an uploading/downloading system into/from the vertical oven; and a stacker crane having two multiple forks each including a plurality of single forks, a first multiple fork withdrawing the panels from a first side of the oven and a second multiple fork withdrawing the panels from the opposed side of the oven, the panels being positioned on the racks side by side or alone based on width. A control unit controls panel uploading/downloading and/or the stacker crane through a control software. Each single fork has an independent actuator and is separately controlled by the control unit. The software configures the control unit to determine the number of single forks to be actuated according to the length of the panel to be withdrawn, and the length of the stroke of the forks based on panel width.

  • Patent number: 11299355
Abstract: A method and system for picking up painted panels of different dimensions and finishes includes inserting the painted panels into a selective sorting system having two superimposed mobile conveyor sectors of a predefined length and with a driving motor for the alternate advancement in one of two directions. The two mobile conveyor sectors move vertically synchronously and are arranged alternately and in series with a fixed conveyor sector. After uploading in the selective sorting system, the painted panels are kept inside the selective sorting system for a time sufficient for drying, and are withdrawn through an upload and download system, which includes software memorizing the position of the uploaded panels, actuating the lifting and/or lowering motors of the mobile conveyor sectors, and advancing the mobile conveyor sectors and the fixed conveyor sector so as to move the panels due for a customer order, temporarily storing undesired panels in a buffer.

  • Publication number: 20070267520
Abstract: The apparatus for supplying a spraying machine with small quantities of liquid product to be sprayed, in particular for processing small batches of articles (M), presents a spray unit (Z) designed in any way so as to support, removably and preferably in an overturned position, at least one container (C1) made of any suitable rigid or deformable pressure-resistant material, with a small capacity, for example able to contain from one to two litres of paint or other product to be sprayed. The spray unit (Z) is provided with quick-release and/or removable connections (3, 103) and a short pipe (4) for connecting the discharge mouth of said container to the spray guns (Z1) and there being envisaged a pressurization pipe (101, 102) which supplies the pressurized fluid and means are envisaged for pressurizing with this pipe the paint situated inside said container (C1), so that said paint is forced out and is supplied with the desired pressure to said spray guns (Z1).

  • Patent number: 5147028
Abstract: Device to recover paint from belt conveyors passing about drums in spray painting plant. A cylinder parallel to the drums of the belt conveyor is driven to rotate in the same direction as the drum and is pressed against an outer surface of the belt so that the adjacent surfaces of the cylinder and of the belt move opposite to each other. The cylinder has a smooth and hard surface and is positioned close to the lower surface of the downstream drum of the conveyor. A scraper extends full width of the cylinder to scrape off the paint on the surface of the cylinder and to collect the scraped-off paint. The lower portion of the cylinder is immersed in a solvent vat.
