  • Publication number: 20240130383
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to compositions including monoglycerides and alkyl esters of fatty acids. An exemplary embodiment includes about 15 wt % to about 99 wt % of one or more monoglycerides of a C4-C28 fatty acid, and about 1 wt % to about 75 wt % of one or more alkyl esters of a C8-C20 fatty acid.

  • Patent number: 9359891
Abstract: An apparatus for estimating a property of an earth formation includes a carrier configured to be conveyed through a borehole penetrating the formation and a single probe configured to be extended from the carrier and to seal with a wall of the borehole. The apparatus further includes a fluid analysis sensor disposed at the carrier and configured to sense a property of a formation fluid sample extracted from the formation by the probe. A coring device is disposed at the carrier and configured to extend into the probe, to drill into the wall of the borehole, and to extract a core sample. A core sample analysis sensor is disposed at the carrier and configured to sense a property of the core sample. A processor is configured to receive data from the fluid analysis sensor and the core sample analysis sensor and to estimate the property using the data.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: November 14, 2012
Date of Patent: June 7, 2016
    Assignee: BAKER HUGHES INCORPORATED
Inventors: Francisco Galvan-Sanchez, Olufemi A. Adegbola, Chris Morgan, Gigi Zhang, Matthias Meister

  • Patent number: 7227355
Abstract: Spin echo signals measured with a multifrequency NMR logging tool are analyzed to determine if one or more of the regions of examination associated with each of the frequencies has signal contamination from borehole fluids. A variety of different methods can be used for analysis. Corrected spin echo signals can be obtained and processed to give improved estimates of formation parameters.
