  • Patent number: 5545100
Abstract: A continuously variable transmission comprises a sun wheel (11, 66) and at least one planet wheel (3, 65) having a double, essentially conical surface (30, 31, 64, 71, 72), which planet wheel (3, 65) interacts on one side with the sun wheel (11, 66) and on the other side with an annulus wheel (2, 73), as well as adjusting structure (5, 6, 16) for changing the transmission ratio. Each planet wheel (3, 65) is provided with an intermediate wheel (9, 59) which interacts on one side with the sun wheel (11, 66) and on the other side with the planet wheel (3, 65). Each planet wheel (3, 65) and, where appropriate, intermediate wheel (9, 59) is also adjustable about an imaginary axis which runs transversely to the centre line of the sun wheel (11, 66), such that each planet wheel (3, 65) can be brought into positions with respect to the annulus wheel (2, 59) in which they can roll with respect to one another so as to describe a helical path.

  • Patent number: 5154675
Abstract: Transverse elements (9) for a driving belt (7) abut with their principal sides (21, 22) against one another. At least one side has a profiling being convex to allow a misalignment between discs (1, 2) and (4, 5) where between the belt (7) is running to be absorbed by effecting a tilting of neighboring elements.

  • Patent number: 4724657
Abstract: An apparatus for producing liquid-filled bag packages including a tube former for shaping a tube from a strip of packaging material. To introduce amounts of liquid into the end of the tube, a filling tube extends into the tube former with its outlet end having a metering valve. To supply the liquid to the filling tube, the filling tube has, on its end located at the height of the inlet opening of the tube former, a crosswise extending supply fitting, the end face of which is closed with a flexible diaphragm. To actuate the valve, a rod extending in the filling tube is pivotably connected at the height of the supply fitting with a lever, which is pivotably connected to an adjusting cylinder. For pivoting of the lever, the lever has two crosswise arms, which are pivotably connected to connecting rods, the longitudinal axes of which intersect one another in the center of the diaphragm.

  • Patent number: 4722373
Abstract: An apparatus for producing and filling tubular bag packages includes a shaping mandrel, about which a sheet of packaging material is shaped into a tube and an open end of the tube is filled with one portion of a product at a time and separated from the formed tube. For sending the portions of the product gently and quickly through the hollow shaping mandrel, a feed apparatus is disposed in the mandrel. The feed apparatus has a plurality of spaced flaps pivotably connected at equal intervals to two synchronous belt drives. In a feed conduit of the shaping mandrel, these flaps define downwardly moved chambers which receive portions of the product and transport them to the lower end of the shaping mandrel, and then, through a relatively narrow return conduit in the shaping mandrel, the flaps return upward again in an upright position by the belts.
