  • Patent number: 8602058
Abstract: The pushbutton stopcock assembly has a sleeve with outer ports, a body portion with inner ports, and a pushbutton to actuate a rotation of the body portion. Each outer port of the sleeve connects to a fluid passageway for the introduction of fluids, and each inner port is in fluid connection with the other inner ports. In this manner, fluids flow and travel from fluid passageways, through the outer ports, and through the inner ports. The body portion has a first end with a spring and a second end with a cam. The pushbutton abuts the second end portion of the body portion, such that depressing the pushbutton engages the cam to be cooperative with a complementary cam within the sleeve so as to rotate the body portion a set amount. Each set amount of rotation corresponds to a particular alignment of the outer ports and inner ports.

  • Patent number: 7506680
Abstract: A heat exchange apparatus has a housing, a first fan cooperative with the housing for drawing air through the housing, an air flow line extending within the housing, a second fan connected to the air flow line for drawing air along the air flow line, and a coolant tube extending in a helical pattern around in the air flow line. A conduit extends over and around the coolant tube and the air flow line. The second fan passes air in heat exchange relationship to the coolant tube interior of the conduit. The housing can be placed forwardly of an engine of a vehicle.

  • Patent number: 6929624
Abstract: A catheter housing assembly having a housing, a needle assembly with a rigid portion and a flexible portion, a recoil device positioned in an interior area of the housing for coiling the flexible portion of the needle assembly therearound, and a trigger connected to the housing so as to retract the rigid portion of the needle into the interior area of the housing. The rigid portion of the needle assembly extends tangentially outwardly of the housing. The flexible portion of the needle assembly has a bead, a flexible line extending through the bead, a first rigid spacer connected to the rigid portion of the needle assembly and a plurality of additional rigid spacers interposed in jointed relationship between the bead and the first rigid spacer.
