  • Publication number: 20240141420
Abstract: The present disclosure describes methods and devices for detection and quantification of target polynucleotides in a sample using targeting nucleic acids immobilized to predetermined locations of a surface.
    Type: Application
    Filed: March 9, 2022
    Publication date: May 2, 2024
Inventors: Noam Kedem Mamet, Gil Harari
  • Publication number: 20240143761
Abstract: Example implementations relate to storing data in a storage system. An example includes accessing a first portion of a data stream to be stored in a storage system; selecting sample data blocks included in the first portion; determining entropy values based on the sample data blocks; selecting, based on the sample data blocks, a entropy threshold from multiple precalculated entropy thresholds; determining whether the generated set of entropy values matches the selected entropy threshold within a probability level; and in response to a determination that the generated set of entropy values matches the selected entropy threshold within the probability level, identifying the first portion of the data stream as potentially including encrypted data affected by a ransomware attack.

  • Patent number: 10628189
Abstract: A synchronous operation method receives a call request from program code executing on an execution engine. The program code has an associated event loop handling asynchronous event calls and callbacks within the program code. Handlers of the event loop associated with the asynchronous event calls and the callbacks within the program code, except a handler of the event loop associated with the synchronous operation method, are temporarily disabled. The synchronous operation method performs an operation specified within the call request, while the event loop is running with the handlers in question temporarily disabled. The synchronous operation method, upon completion, calls back its handler with results of performance of the operation, and the disabled handlers are reenabled.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: April 23, 2018
Date of Patent: April 21, 2020
    Assignee: MICRO FOCUS LLC
Inventors: Yafim Kazak, Boris Kozorovitzky, Marina Gofman, Gil Kedem

  • Patent number: 10187495
Abstract: Examples relate to identifying problematic messages. In one example, a computing device may: obtain, for each of a plurality of server requests, at least one log message; obtain, for each of the server requests, a measure of server request success; for each of the obtained log messages, cluster the obtained log message into one of a plurality of log clusters, the clustering being based on a measure of similarity between the obtained log message and other log messages included in the log cluster; and for each of the obtained log messages, increment a particular counter associated with the log cluster into which the obtained log message is clustered, the particular counter being selected for incrementing based on the measure of server request success.
    Type: Grant

Date of Patent: January 22, 2019
    Assignee: ENTIT SOFTWARE LLC

  • Publication number: 20150101057
Abstract: In one implementation, a service interface analysis system identifies a parameter at a portion of a service request for a network service and within a service response provided by the network service in response to the service request. The service interface analysis system then defines a request template including a placeholder at a portion of the request template associated with the portion of the service request.
