    Abstract: A mechanism for controlling the velocity of a tool platform in a manner causing the platform to follow a moving product at product speed while machine operations are performed on the product. The mechanism comprises a platform reciprocally driven by a roller chain coupled to a slot in the platform, the orientation of the roller chain being altered to control the velocity and distance of travel of the platform.
