  • Patent number: 6659022
Abstract: To obviate the discomfort in the use of a so-called laptop computer which because a lightweight object, i.e., typically 10 pounds, is positioned on the lap of the user, there is provided as an alternative a readily assembled table, the stability of which is supplemented by the computer-user while in a seated position at the table closing his/her knees against support legs of the table.

  • Patent number: 5724713
Abstract: An internally supported and ready-to-use erect garment bag having in its front panel a T-shaped configuration of two horizontally oriented zippers and a third vertically oriented zipper wherein the opening of all zippers provides a large-sized opening facilitating the fitting loosely of the garment bag upon its internal support, the closing of the two horizontal zippers makes the fit taut, and the third zipper provides ready access into and closes off the garment bag clothes-storage compartment.

  • Patent number: 4950003
Abstract: Improvements for slidably mounting a size-adjustable luggage cart handle inverter U-shape in a lower U-shape, consisting of each leg of the upper U-shape being disposed through a hole in a cap covering the opening of the lower U-shape and having an integrally molded hub with a threaded bore to thereby increase the number of teeth threadably engaging the threaded member which bears against the upper U-shape in any selected position of its sliding movement, which determines the size of the handle, and thus obviate thread-stripping, wobble and other such defects.

  • Patent number: 4616756
Abstract: A readily assembled cart for storing and receiving fan-folded computer paper having a frame formed of a lower shelf and a pair of side walls connected to the lower shelf at each of its corners by a removable caster assembly. An upper shelf is removably hooked onto the inner surfaces of the side walls above the lower shelf, and transverse end walls connected to the side walls to secure the side walls against lateral deflection.

Date of Patent: October 14, 1986
    Inventor: Gilbert J. Holtz
  • Patent number: 4526399
Abstract: A cart of the type similar to that used for carrying luggage at airports or the like which, in its unfolded condition, provides two laterally extending support shelves; one for a supply length of blank paper, and one for the paper after it has been imprinted upon and made into a computer printout. The cart is constructed to unfold from a compact storage condition into a two-shelf support, as and for the purposes just noted, wherein the upper shelf on an upper body frame snaps into place onto a lower frame component in assuming its laterally extending position, and this engagement effectively holds the two frames in extending relation to each other as well as forms a pushing handle for the cart.

  • Patent number: 4523773
Abstract: A luggage cart of the type which unfolds from its storage into its luggage-carrying condition and vice versa, and in which the extending and collapsing handle is the principal space-saver, having the improvements of (1) a spring-biased detent to hold the handle in its extended position and a detent release to cause withdrawal of the detent preparatory to collapsing the handle, and (2) a novel plastic hinge to establish and support the luggage-carrying platform of the cart.

Date of Patent: June 18, 1985
    Inventor: Gilbert J. Holtz
  • Patent number: 4458914
Abstract: An improved cart for personal use in transporting luggage about airports or the like, in which rotatable components on the luggage-supporting member in one position assist in bearing the weight of the luggage, and in another 180 degree rotated position help clamp the luggage-supporting member against the body of the cart to thereby provide and maintain a compact storage condition in the cart.

  • Patent number: 4223887
Abstract: An exercise supervision device for recording the number of footsteps taken by a jogger while running in place on the device includes a linearly depressible jogging surface and a rotatively operable counter and structure directly connecting the jogging surface and counter for converting the linear motion of the jogging surface to a rotative traverse effective to operatively increment the counter.

  • Patent number: 4185848
Abstract: A shopping cart of the type having a collapsible, or foldable, basket which can readily assume a nominal volume or size and wherein, also, the pushing handle is also collapsible to a greatly diminished size and the wheels, heretofore structural features that required significant storage space, are readily reoriented into the flat plane of the basket and handle, to thereby contribute to the compactness of the cart when it is prepared for storage or periods of non-use.

  • Patent number: 4062565
Abstract: A collapsible cart for use with baggage or the like and having a main frame with a handle connected thereto that is readily inwardly deflected to permit pivotal movement between a locked position in which the cart is operational to a collapsed position. The cart further includes a lower frame, auxiliary frame and a linkage for movement relative to the main frame.
