Abstract: A stackable foot, particularly for the base of a container of the palette type. The foot is characterized in that it is principally constituted, on the one hand, by a body (2) essentially in the form of a tube or of a U shaped profile, ensuring particularly the maintenance in vertical position of an upright articulated or not relative to the body (2) and, on the other hand, by elements (4, 4', 5, 5') for the assembly of beams (6) and bearing pads (7) respectively together, the foot (1) having a molded one-piece construction.

Abstract: In a variable inductor of the type comprising a helical winding, the pressure exerted by the slider on the conductor of the winding decreases when the slider undergoes a high-speed displacement. A separating device is associated with the slider and, under the action of the centrifugal force produced at the time of a high-speed displacement of the slider, tends to move said slider away from its point of application on the conductor and therefore to reduce the pressure at the point of contact between the slider and the conductor. Wear resulting from displacements of the slider is thus minimized.

Abstract: Revolver cylinder provided with a mechanism for the ejection of rimless cartridge casings, and a revolver incorporating such cylinder. The ejector has a head with a plurality of part-circular cutout portions which are disposed in alignment with the chambers in the cylinder. Each of such cutout portions in the head has a peripheral groove in which there is disposed a generally part-circular leaf spring which is adapted to fit within the annular groove in the rear end of the cartridge casing and to engage the casing at two diametrically opposed zones.
