  • Publication number: 20190232425
Abstract: There is described a method for welding a first panel to a second panel. The method comprises forming an approximate connection, such as a mortise-and-tenon or a tongue-and-groove connection, to preassemble the first panel and the second panel, thereby roughly creating a joint between the first panel and the second panel. With a laser camera, a location and a spatial orientation of the joint is determined using a tracking algorithm. A laser is eventually displaced at a given location which depends upon the location and the spatial orientation of the joint. The joint is then irradiated with the laser, while displacing the laser along the spatial orientation of the joint, to weld the first panel with the second panel.

  • Patent number: 10062975
Abstract: A connector assembly for electrically connecting poles of two adjacent battery cell. The connector assembly comprises an electrically conductive bus bar having a first connection area and a second connection area distal from each other, electrically conductive pole-mating components having a pole-mating face and a bar-mating face, and fastening components for attaching the electrically conductive bus bar and one of the pole-mating components to one of the poles of the two adjacent battery cells. The pole-mating faces of the pole-mating components are adapted for mating the poles the battery cells. The bar-mating faces of the pole-mating components are adapted for mating with the connection areas. The bar-mating faces and the connection areas have complementary concave/convex arched shape for optimizing contact surface over a range of relative positioning of the two adjacent battery cells.

  • Publication number: 20050205076
Abstract: A barbecue cooking device (1) is disclosed. The barbecue cooking device comprises an inverted frustum casing (10) having a base wall (20), an open top (30) and a slanted side wall section (40) extending from the base wall (20) to the top (30), the slanted side wall section having an inner surface made of a material capable of reflecting radiant energy. A grill (60) mountable on the open top (30) is provided. The barbecue device further comprises a cup-shaped burner (70), with a bottom wall (72) and a side wall section (74), comprising a combustion chamber (76) in an upper portion thereof for burning a combustible material, thereby emitting thermal energy; an air chamber (78) located beneath the combustion chamber (76), the air chamber (78) having an air intake (82) for receiving air; and a diffuser plate (79) separating the combustion chamber (76) and the air chamber (78).

  • Patent number: 4614943
Abstract: A device for remotely controlling the position and orientation of a camera borne by a vehicle includes a first support member including two arms and an intermediary bracket. The arms have first ends pivotally mounted in a substantially vertical plane to the vehicle for movement in the vertical plane and about the substantially vertical plane, and opposite, second ends pivotally secured to the intermediary bracket to form a pivoting parallelogram structure, with the intermediary bracket always remaining in a substantially upright position during the movement of the arms. A parallelogram jack is pivotally secured between a substantially fixed point of the parallelogram structure an one of the arms for pivoting the arms in the substantially vertical plane. A rotation jack is pivotally secured between a fixed point of the vehicle and at least one of the arms for rotating the arms about the substantially vertical plane.
