The apparatus and method are implemented using a monitoring application different from the monitored applications and aims at providing not only information regarding applications usage time, but also information regarding how some of the monitored applications are used. The monitoring application utilizes a trained model to acquired information regarding the monitored applications.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a method for locating a service, to be performed in a device belonging to a network of communication devices. According to an embodiment, the method includes checking an availability of the service on the network, when the service is not available on the network, obtaining an installation requirement representative of a capacity required from a candidate device for an installation of the service on the candidate device, sending the obtained installation requirement on the network, receiving an indication of a compliance, of a candidate device of the network, to the installation requirement, sending an order of installation of the service to the candidate device according to the indication of compliance. Abstract: Efficient audio/video data storing is proposed. An audio/video stream is recorded in a shared storage zone on behalf of a plurality of client processes or client devices. Recording in the storage zone is managed through a reservation based method. Client processes and client devices may read access a recording stored on their behalf until the client process or client device releases its reservation. When a client process or client device releases its reservation, at least some of reserved storage space in the storage zone may be freed for reuse by other client processes or client devices, if the reserved storage space is not part of a reservation by another client process or client device.

Navigation commands control the position of a cursor also displayed on the screen, independently of the position of the identifiers. The identifiers automatically scroll over the screen as a function of the position of the cursor on the screen thus defining the direction of scrolling. When the cursor is positioned on an identifier, the latter is highlighted and the user can enter a command to activate the document, for example to reproduce it. Advantageously, the identifiers scroll over concentric carrousels, each carrousel containing identifiers of documents having common properties. The invention also relates to a viewing appliance able to execute a navigation software module.
