  • Patent number: 11064674
Abstract: An automatic animal processing device for automatically processing a domestic animal from its stall the animal while restraining the animal and without impeding passage in the aisle. The animal processing device, while operating, allows a person to walk-by the system with minimal constraints. The animal processing device may be a milking machine may be a milking machine having a milking head assembly and a cleaning system. The animal processing device may be mounted on a movable platform, such that the processing device may be automatically moved from one stall to the next. For installations in which the processing device is installed on tracks in the middle of two rows of animals, the processing device may be rotatable on its movable platform, such that it may process the animals of both sides of the aisle.

  • Patent number: 5702009
Abstract: A bottle holder, for holding the neck of an inverted bottle while emptying the bottle or concentrating the bottle contents in the neck, is made as a cube-shaped hollow body having a sidewall on each of five sides defining a cavity which is open at a sixth side. Several of the sidewalls each have a single centrally situated aperture which differs in size from apertures in other sidewalls. The holder is capable of resting on a level surface with a selected one of the apertured sidewalls uppermost, this latter sidewall having an aperture capable of holding the neck of a particular bottle clear of an opposed sidewall. The different sizes of aperture allow the holder to be used with bottles of widely different sizes. The holder may also include an open-topped container suitable for being inserted into the cavity to receive liquid from a bottle.

  • Patent number: 5126584
Abstract: A windmill having a stator and a rotor. The rotor has the shape of a long convex blade having sharp edges and being symmetrical with respect to its longitudinal axis. The stator which surrounds and supports the rotor comprises a lower platform which acts as a base, an upper platform parallel to the lower platform and a set of vertical and also equally spaced vanes joining the two platforms. According to a first embodiment, each vane is formed of an outer stationary shutter joining the two platforms and of a movable inner shutter capable of pivoting about its longitudinal axis. In an other embodiment, the vanes are one-piece element and can pivot freely on posts of which the ends are secured to the two platforms. In either case, there is provided a control mechanism responsible for the angular orientation of the movable shutters or vanes.
