  • Publication number: 20020160380
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for producing combinatorial functional expression libraries using a combinatorial library of nucleic acids belonging to the same gene family, comprising a step of cloning by recombination in yeast. The invention also relates to a method for producing functional mosaic proteins and for analyzing a combinatorial functional expression library, by determining a sequential footprint for each of the mosaic proteins of the library.

  • Patent number: 5635369
Abstract: Yeast strains and a method of expression in yeast of the monooxygenase activity of heterologous cytochromes P450 are disclosed. Within the genome of the yeast strain, genes for NADPH-cytochrome P450 reductase and cytochrome b5 are stably integrated and coexpressed. The genome is transformed with a plasmid carrying a cassette for the expression of a heterologous P450 gene.
